WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ WEEK 9: B+ WEEK 10: B- 22/41 - 54% - 266 yards, 28 yards rushing, 2 rushing TDʻs Today is a tough one to grade because of all of the bad things we saw across the board as a team. However this report card is about Josh Allen and not our kicker so here we go: The good: Stayed poised and never looked like the moment was too big for him. Continues to make the throws necessary to move the chains WITHIN THE PLAY THAT IS CALLED ON THE FIELD. I think that portion is crucial as we had a few third down plays where he didn't seem to have good options to extend the play. On his first rushing TD, he saw that the field was wide open in the middle and took what the defense gave. No INTʻs today. The last pick he threw was in week 4 against the Pats. The bad: The long ball is officially a concern for me. I almost want him to throw one next week that is close to the WR even if it gets picked off. It seems he is so worried about not throwing an INT that he lost the ability to make plays down the field with his arm. The ugly: With Josh Allen you can push stats like today aside if one thing happens... we win. When we donʻt win, you look at a QB (and offensive system) that has major things to work on. Yes, this is their first time playing together as a unit this season as almost everyone is brand new. However, in todayʻs NFL you have to be able to put more points on the board if you want to win games. 54% completion percentage just wonʻt cut it. Yes, there were some major drops which again is a sign that our offense needs some upgrades as Josh Allen improves as a QB. Also, I havenʻt begun to process the fumbling issues. Simply put: Josh Allen did not lose this game for us, but he didn't win it either. GO BILLS!

What is your perfect scenario for this weekend?
rayray808 replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for me this game is more than the Browns vs the Bills but is also Baker vs Allen a good showing by Josh will definitely earn some respect in the major media as this team moves forward... then if he can do it again against the Ravens? pants explosions -
Josh Allen: Beyond the field (story)

I love him... there, I said it -
If we win out, and us and the Pats have one loss each but split the season head to head, how would they decide the tie breaker?

Josh Allen - week NINE report card
rayray808 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Devin is healthy, we follow that game plan and Josh doesnʻt get knocked out... we beat the Pats -
@ CLE -- W @MIA - W DEN _ W @DAL - W BAL _ L @PIT - W @NE - W NYJ - W That puts us at 14-2 for the season. BOOM KANANI

Josh Allen - week NINE report card
rayray808 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if that route is there all day we should make teams pay! -
Get Josh to fix the small stuff, and our coaches to put Devin over Gore on the depth chart and we will be golden

WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ WEEK 9: B+ 14/20 - 160 yards - 1 TD, 0 INT - 12 yards rushing, 1 TD The good: I felt Josh Allen had total control over the game and establishing the run helped that. He never had to do too much or get into "hero ball" mode. His ball placement was good, and he spread the ball out. Zero interceptions. Not even close ones. Gotta love that progression! The bad: We are still awaiting the deep ball. Many factors are in play here however the fact remains that he has yet to hit one, and him being athletic enough to beat the cold weather in Buffalo was one of the main reasons he was drafted. Concerns are beginning to also surface regarding the inability to hit vertical routes. The ugly: Fumbles. They must stop. Sure we didn't lose the ball, but it doesn't mean that their is an issue regarding him holding on to the ball. Overall: As a sophomore, I love where Josh Allen is along his progression. He is leading the team and winning games. The people who are low on Allen need to stop expecting Mahomes level explosions of yardage and understand that it takes time for a QB in this league to get to that level. The people who are high on Allen need to understand that there are elements to his game that must be corrected or else we basically have Mitch Trubisky/Andy Dalton leading this team. GO BILLS!

Josh Allen - week EIGHT report card

I turned to the guy next to me and we both agreed that Daboll should rip that play out of the playbook already, it has yet to yield good results -
WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ 16/34 - 169 yards - 2 TD's, 45 yards rushing, fumble Yes the field conditions were bad. Yes we didn't run the ball. Yes our defense let the Eagles run the ball over and over again, however good QB's keep you in the game regardless of that, and Josh Allen couldn't come up with a complete game to do that. The good: 3rd down conversions. He is so exciting to watch in those situations and I genuinely never feel like we are out of it when he has the ball in his hands. The bad: holding on to the ball too long and missing his WR's on easy routes. The ugly. the fumble inside 2 minutes, and frankly, his fumbles in general. 18 games. 16 fumbles. That is a huge concern. Overall - THE SKY IS NOT FALLING guys. It is his sophomore year and he is still progressing along just fine. I will say this though... our close victories should no longer mask some of the glaring holes this team has. We are not Super Bowl contenders yet, or even a playoff lock, but we are better than we were last year and as a true Bills fan you have to be excited about that. GO BILLS! Side note: huge thanks to Dave from the Salt Lake City Bills Backers club for hosting me while I was in town for a conference. Utah Bills Mafia are amazingly friendly and wonderful hosts.

Josh Allen fined for throwing ball into stands

so Cam can toss the ball one row deep, but Allen throws it section 224 and itʻs 7k? so itʻs by distance? -
Josh Allen - week SEVEN report card

I would hate to make a Darnold report card ? -
Each team must go back in time to re-do the draft (Dr Strange still has the time stone) and take a QB knowing what they know AS OF TODAY. Take all fan-hood out of the equation and do your mock draft based on the following scenarios: THE OG: 1) Browns 2) Jets 3) Bills 4) Cardinals 5) Ravens ENDGAME VERSION: 1) Bills 2) Jets 3) Ravens 4) Browns 5) Cardinals My answers: THE OG: 1) Browns - Lamar Jackson - after watching him in division they take him knowing he can win conference games 2) Jets - Josh Allen - easier to build around, has the grit and poise to handle the NYC media 3) Bills - Sam Darnold - process guy who they can slowly build around 4) Cardinals - Baker Mayfield - can run Kingsburyʻs offense and would play great in the dome 5) Ravens - Mason Rudolph - minus the concussion he could lead those division games as he did in Pittsburgh, maybe even arguably throw better than Lamar ENDGAME VERSION: 1) Bills - Josh Allen - total package he is the gem of the draft and fits this city and franchise direction the best 2) Jets - Baker Mayfield - I may not agree with it but I think their franchise would love building around him over Jackson/Darnold/Rosen 3) Ravens - Lamar Jackson - if the top two are gone I think they are comfortable where they are at as a team 4) Browns - Sam Darnold - probably a better face for the franchise PR wise but lower "wow factor" at the position 5) Cardinals - Mason Rudolph - basically doesn't want Rosen no matter what

Josh Allen - week SEVEN report card
rayray808 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
curious if the Josh doubters on here would have rather had this stat line: Bills win. Josh Allen - 9 for 20 - 143 yards - 0 TD - 0 INT - 14 rushes - 116 yards - 1 rushing TD (what Lamar Jackson did today) I personally would rather have Joshʻs stat line from today as I do not find what Lamar did as sustainable -
WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 6: B 16 for 26 - 202 yards - 62% accuracy - 2 TDS - 32 yards rushing - 2 point rushing conversion The tale of two halves. In the first half, as our defense got gashed, Josh Allen led the offense to 3 FGʻs and got booʻd off the field down 14-9 against maybe the worst football team the league has seen in the past 10 years. In the second half? Almost near perfection and 2 TDʻs and a bomb that would have made his career highlight reel. Josh did his thing as usual and got us the W. The good: ZERO TURNOVERS The bad: A few dropped balls by our WR, and a few sacks that should have been thrown away The ugly: left some guys wide open and didnʻt make the right read Overall it was not his best game, and yet not his worse. I think we need to keep in mind that as bad as Miami has been, this team came out to play today. Fitzmagic had them believing in the impossible and it didnt help that Las Vegas slapped us with a 17 point spread. Miami moved the ball on offense in that first half and gashed us with runs up the gut, and Fitzy gave his WR/TEʻs 50/50 balls that they came down with. When the dust settled our defense started making plays, and our offense found rhythm. The most important stat? We are 5-1. GO BILLS

Mariota officially benched in Tennessee
rayray808 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mariota will absolutely shine in the right system... a mediocre team who trades for him will make the jump right away: Dolphins: get Mariota and give the Titans Rosen - at least he could be a good vet to buy next years rookie QB time - Hawaii connection with Tua? Same high school too Steelers: good Big Ben insurance should he not return to form Bengals: start the revamp with Mariota? Cowboys: put Dak on the hot seat Chargers: heir to Rivers Texans: Watson insurance for the playoff run Chiefs: Mahomes insurance for the playoff run -
Week 7: Dolphins at Bills (-17)
