What are your expectations for the game this Saturday
rayray808 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expect a similar offensive result as the Dallas game - Bills win and Josh looks great doing so -
- Barkley couldn’t score on the goal line vs the Pats to win the game - Barkley couldn’t score a TD against the Jets in the season finale However... - Barkley is a great team mate and helps Josh Allen learn the position of QB - The Pats defense was on a crazy streak at the time of not allowing a TD - Darnold also struggled that day as the weather seemed to be an issue for offenses to move the ball in conclusion: - Keep Barkley - Draft a QB late and see if he can stick around

Levi Wallace - sprained ankle, day to day
rayray808 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Levi already worried me in this game, if his ankle is an issue... letʻs just let KJ have his revenge game at full strength -
WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ WEEK 9: B+ WEEK 10: B- WEEK 11: A WEEK 12: B WEEK 13: A WEEK 14: C WEEK 15: A WEEK 16: B WEEK 17: **early out pass GPA: 2.8 OVERALL GRADE: B- (rounded up because of making the playoffs) RECORD: 10-6 COMP %: 58.8 YARDS: 3,089 TDʻS PASSING: 20 INTʻS: 9 RUSHING: 510 YARDS RUSHING TDʻS: 9 FUN FACTS: 5th (tied) total touchdowns 5th highest 1st down % on 3rd+long 5th most 4th quarter TD passes 4th highest 4th quarter passer rtg 1st (tied) 4th quarter comebacks 1st (tied) game winning drives Josh Allen has improved his passer rating by +17.1 this season, marking the largest increase from last season by any NFL starter. Allen is also one of three NFL QBs with 3,000+ passing yards and 500+ rushing yards this season. Overall this season has been an absolute pleasure to watch this young QB develop. Was it as fast as a progression as a Mahomes or Lamar Jackson? Absolutely not. However, it was still progression, rather than regression (Baker cough.. cough..) I tried to remain as unbiased as possible this year regarding grades, and I used a "sophomore rubric" where some people thought I was inflating grades, and yet others felt I was being too harsh at times as the season progressed. Truth be told, I have been sold on Allen for awhile now, but also know that the path towards him becoming a franchise, elite and most importantly a SUSTAINABLE winning QB in this league will take some time. All in all, I think for him to improve in the ways he did this season, and lead us to a playoff wild card spot - earns him a B- for this season. PLAYOFF GOALS: Donʻt be the reason we lose games, and let our defense be the reason we win games. OFF SEASON GOALS: Clean up your footwork. Yes you have a strong arm, and yes your legs look amazing in shorts. However, you sometimes lose focus of the simple mechanics of football and it prevents you from making throws that extend drives, and win games. This is a make or break fundamental switch that must happen. MANAGEMENT GOALS: Get a big WR and another RB for this offense. Only then can we start playing "fearless" as there are actual weapons on the field to help us get past the dreaded 17 points a game. PERSONAL GOALS: Get a sponsorship for Josh. Nike, Adidas, maybe even Jordan brand? Josh Allen is prime time football and we should get 5 national games next season. GO BILLS!

Tre/Allen for Mahomes Outcome
rayray808 replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tre and Tremaine for Mahommes = bad deal Tre and Tremaine for Mahomes and then use other assets to grab Josh Allen? YES NO CHANCE Mahomes has a MVP year with the historically bad offense we had last year. This year? Yes he would have scored more than 17 points but our defense wouldn’t be what it is today. Both teams won short term, and if Josh can make small improvements both teams will win long term -
the only person to catch a TD last year, and this year... Dion Dawkins. it does not excuse our offense for scoring 17 points all the damn time, but this is literally a brand new group that didnʻt have much time to get on the same page as players AND coaches. I truly believe we are going to start peaking offensively at the right time... next week in the playoffs. If we do... look out! If we donʻt... we have an entire off season and tons of cash/draft picks to improve on it. As for Josh Allen, there is no QB that I would rather have from that class regarding work ethic and approach towards his profession. This off season is going to be HUGE for him to grow as a more complete passer. If he works his tail off, and for some reason we are seeing the same results next year? Perhaps then we look at plan B.

If you could swap QBs with any team right now
rayray808 replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mahomes Watson Wentz Wilson *IF WE ARE BUILDING FOR THE NEXT 5-10 YEARS the thing we need to realize is that if we are talking about trading right now today? we could trade for almost 10-15 guys who would put us in a position to win the Super Bowl this year -
I think I'd rather have the Titans as #6 seed
rayray808 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
YES! Titans over Chiefs Bills over Texans Ravens vs Titans Bills vs Pats Itʻs our best shot to the AFC championship either at home vs Tennessee but most likely on the road vs Baltimore. If we are gonna play the Ravens I want it for a trip to the Super Bowl and not for a trip to Gillette -
We are now at the point where a few things have been established: - Playoffs are a lock - Josh Allen is streaky - Josh Allen has good games, and some not so good games - Josh Allen is a duel threat who leads the league in rushing TDʻs but also fumbles In threads there seems to be a divide that puts people all in on either him being the franchise, or him never able to make the jump to being an NFL starter. This thread is intended to be able to quantify exactly how confident you are that he is indeed the future of the franchise without being 0% or 100% about it. GO BILLS

Josh makes hard throws, misses easy ones
rayray808 replied to Rockee96's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
his floor is higher than it was at the start of the season... as is his ceiling letʻs try and sneak a playoff win or two, and let Josh do what he does best: work at his craft and improve. couple that with building more weapons on O and guess what? HE IS THE FRANCHISE GUY in your face OP -
WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ WEEK 9: B+ WEEK 10: B- WEEK 11: A WEEK 12: B WEEK 13: A WEEK 14: C WEEK 15: A WEEK 16: B 13/26 - 208 yards - 2 TDʻs - 43 yards rushing Tonight was the big stage at probably one of the toughest places to play. The last time we played the Pats, Josh went 13/28 - 153 yards and 3 INTʻs and tonight he did much better. Big plays to John Brown and Knox, however it was their only catches of the game. 43 yards rushing tonight, when our RB1 Devin Singletary only has 46. Josh Allen did not do enough tonight to win us that game... that is a fact. However, I am beginning to feel that perhaps it is not all on him and we are starting to see why Brian Daboll is just an OC and never head coach material. Or, maybe it just isnʻt a good mix? When the game was on the line we started driving down the field and I felt confident that Josh was gonna deliver. The injury to Morse hurt, as did the missed facemask call. His over throw to Knox needs to be made, as tough as a throw as that is to complete. I think we have all gotten to the point that we know the sexy 300 yard games, or 3 TD passing barrage nights will never happen with this guy, but his grit and toughness is always the non negotiable. The question is... is it enough to win in the NFL? And if it is, do we have the right players and OC to be able to accomplish that task? GO BILLS!

LEAKED: Sean McDermott wins coach of the year?
rayray808 posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
https://buffalonews.com/2019/12/18/oops-country-106-5-wyrk-reports-bills-sean-mcdermott-wins-top-coach-award/ Looks like a radio station leaked the info? -
Josh Allen is the third alternate for the Pro Bowl... who is first and second? 3 spots in the Pro Bowl: 1) Lamar Jackson 2) Pat Mahomes 3) Deshaun Watson Obviously, I would love if Josh couldnʻt play because of being in the Super Bowl but if the Ravens, Chiefs or Texans make it, that would open one spot. If Lamar wins the MVP and the Ravens are not in the Super Bowl I could see him bailing out, which would leave another open spot. Question is... who is in front of Josh?!?!?!?!

Start off games like we did week one vs the Jets - lets Josh Allen spray the field with quick passes

Dear Devin Singletary: PLEASE don't become fumble prone!
rayray808 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
few things: - he is slow so guys will always get a chance to swipe at it from behind - seems to be a team problem (Josh, Devin, WRʻs) - perhaps the coaches should incorporate drills during the off season to coach up better ball protection? -
Josh Allen - week FIFTEEN report card

gotta update that chart after last nights drop festival -
can we afford to resign our main guys, and get Ngakoue + AJ Green?
