Of all opponents to play in our wasted "home" game, this is the one we wanted. They would be 1-5 against better teams (Giants only real win). We can use the real homefield advantage against the Jets etc. What does worry me, is they lost three in a row and may be HUNGRY. Any given Sunday . . . . we cannot be complacent, and I'm glad there record makes them look better than they are.

Wow, encapsulates everything I've been thinking since I (finally) got over losing to the Giants. That took a week. I think we will be very lucky to make the playoffs this year, but not impossible and we're playing good enough to dream. And next year Buddy and Chan will fix the holes in the defense and LOOK OUT!!

Agreed, contrary to those on other threads I think our QB is more than adequate and we have some weapons on O. We actually have a TE for goodness sake! We need to upgrade the D. But someone pls help me the specifics. CB comes to mind? Or back to the line? What is our #1 draft need?

I'm quite OK with 4-2 right now, but what I love about our team this year is CHAN IS NOT OK WITH IT AND NEITHER IS FITZ. I still think we are an 8-8 team (maybe 9-7 or even 10-6 with some breaks), but I think next year is the year we can seriously expect playoffs. The reason we are outplaying ourselves this year is Chan expects more sooner and that is a great improvement over the last regime.

You may be right, I was thinking at the time we should give the ball to Freddo . . . BUT . . . I have had a bellyfull of conservative playcalling that wins us just enough games to get 7-9 year after year, with no hope of the playoffs . . . I like a little overaggressiveness and am willing to live with the occasional interception or blown up play. I see no sense in bemoaning 4-2 going into the buy.

Even if Fitz is not the perfect QB, he will have to do, because we have bigger needs at D and we are not drafting Andrew Luck. Consider Fitz our franchise QB and move on . . . we're on track for a winning season this year, with a good draft next year we are serious playoff contenders.

Please . . . we're 4-2. He had a bad game. The D was banged up and didn't play well. Who in the long line of undistinguished Bills QBs would you rather have? What makes you think the first three games were flukes? Let's see how Fitz does after the break before asking for his head.

Agreed Freddo should have gotten more snaps and maybe we would not have been in a forced throw situation late in the fourth. BUT . . . poor d had more to do with this loss. We need to use the bye to reeavaluate our D. We need much more from Darious and Merriman (not playing today I know).
