Allen is 5 games into his career. Kelly played 2 years in USFL and still went 1-4 his first 5 games. We finished 4-12 that year. We are already 2-3 with Allen. WAY to early to worry.

I mean McD was here for about 10 minutes, but Whaley was still the GM and Russ Brandon was still making football decisions with input from Littmann and Overdorf. Beane wasn't even on board yet. Is there some reporting the McD didn't want Mahomes? Otherwise, this is a useless comparison. For all we know, a Beane-McDermott draft team would have taken Mahomes.
