3) Jackson
LOL. Lets see how that turns out in 8 months time
could be last year was LJ's "pop" year. Or maybe he's really that good. Like Allen, we wont know for another season or two.

What is the point of posting on a board where everyone hates you? Just go away already. I have no idea why the admins allow you to troll around here on a daily basis. But i'm not going to suffer you any longer. Ignore list it is.
why? he has Darnold after Allen.

Ive come to the realization Josh Allen is the TSLA of NFL quarterbacks. You either believe or you doubt.
Ill keep both my TSLA and my JA, thank you. And in 3-5 years we will know if the Bills finally won a Superbowl and if TSLA is worth $4k a share.

I dunno did she direct the HC to replace the QB on the eve of an important playoff game and then direct the HC to lie about who made that decision and then fire said HC for not firing an assistant coach as the fall guy for her meddling?
Then Im not worried.

I personally don't get how these guys get attached to a specific helmet. I'd be spending as much money as possible to get whatever is top of the line and best at protecting brains, and if something new and better comes out I for sure would get that.
Don't screw around with protecting your brain.

Year 3 for Allen, Darnold, Mayfield. I would say its put up or shut up time for all three. I do think Josh showed solid improvement from year 1 to year 2. He definitely needs to take another step. I mentioned this before but he should have sat and held a clipboard his rookie year and watched Peterman/McCarron. But since the Bills ****ed up their QB situation so bad at the time Allen got thrown out there in a sink or swim situation. To make matters worse the Bills were a bad team with a horrible offense. Considering where he started from I think Josh has done a good job. Hopefully he takes the next step to being a solid QB this year and quiets his critics.
I would give Josh - who did not come from an elite program in either HS or college - an extra year to develop if needed but you are right: this will continue until he has better numbers and/or we start winning playoff games.

I know its a highlight reel, and there are lots of headscratchers available as well. But I just don't understand how anyone can watch those plays and not think JA is a franchise quarterback.

Duke Williams wouldn't be a high profile cut. He's one of the obvious ones. A bottom of the roster WR, who doesn't play special teams, has achieved very little in the NFL and who had multiple players drafted at his position.
apparently you don't follow this board much.

I assumed this was going to have something to do with the protests.

I want 52 games a year, just to avoid another offseason of "is Josh Allen really a franchise quarterback?" threads.

will the Pats sign Kapernick?
I dunno
Can Kapernick be trusted to stand by silently while an abusive organization systematically breaks the rules to exploit their privileged position?
then no.

Forget about the fact for a minute that Josh Allen has more upside then Dak Prescott to be an absolutely great NFL Quarterback. (not saying Josh will, but he has that potential which hopefully will be realized over the next two years) But Josh Allen is way more the leader then Dak will ever be. And he is much tougher as well. The 4th and 1 that Josh made against the Cowboys was one for the ages fellas. And did anyone watch that video from 5-6 years ago of Dak getting his ass kicked in Panama City Beach, Florida by some thugs on Spring Break? You think Josh Allen is getting his ass kicked by anyone? Don't think so. Dak is a momma's boy baby B word when it comes down to it. There you go. From the mouth of Paup. Over and out. Have a good Sunday to all you Bills fans. Stay safe in these very combustible times. And God Bless America to stay strong and unite as one people again..
Bryce Paup actual? Salute o7

When we win the Division this year I am going to pull this stupid thread out and ask everyone wanting to trade JA to turn in their season tickets and all their Bills gear.

From a talent perspective, no doubt.
You likely disagree, but I've never seen the clipboard holder job as solely based on talent. You have to assume your starter is going to get 80+% of the snaps (13 or 14 of 16 games even with an injury). I want a player who knows his main job is to help QB1 with preparation -- be there with him watching film, analyzing, assessing practice and also getting himself mentally ready to play if the unlikely event happens that he does have to play. He is QB1's sounding board who isn't the QB coach or OC. I think its needed.
QB2 is going to get very few practice reps after the start of the regular season. I like a low maintenance guy who works hard and supports QB1..the strategy ***** the bed if QB1 goes down for a long time, but odds are having a good role fit QB2 is better than having a divided QB room.
Like I said, you likely disagree--but this is my take...
close, but the prime requisite for a backup QB is chroise.

"Diggs should make it easier for the organization to make up its mind about third-year quarterback Josh Allen by the end of the season."
what are they even talking about?

I’m curious as to how “gamer” and “leader” are quantified and made into a statistic.
that's easy:
wins as an underdog with > 3 point spread.
luck is a factor there, but so are leadership on the field and an iron will to win.

Bad, but not as bad as last year’s MNF game when they broke out the all-yellows against the Ravens. That was like saying “Please kick my ass. “
