    ‘20 Bills. What we know/don’t know.

    did I miss 3 preseason games?  To my knowledge the '20 Bills are 0-0.

     

    The '19 Bills dropped 3 at the end but that team no longer exists.  

     

    Does Diggs make the catches Duke dropped?  Probably.  Is Josh a better QB now than at Houston?  Should be.  Will Epenesa be an upgrade on D? Hopefully.

     

    My point:  you cant hold the 2020 Bills to what the 2019 Bills left on the field, because its not the same team.  That team is history.  We have a new team now. 

     

    Although the new schedule is tougher, the new team should be better.  If we have to earn it by playing better than last year, GOOD.  It will help us in the playoffs.  

     

    And Im sure McDermott, Allen and Diggs wouldnt have it any other way.

    Every analyst and writer is entitled to their own opinion.  The Bills could be excellent this year and be a legitimate SB contender.  Their schedule could also turn out to be a really difficult one (you never truly know until the season plays out) and they could "regress" to a middle-of-the road record (between 7-9 and 9-7), after losing a few tight ballgames against top-tier clubs.  Allen's development will likely be the key.   I am more on the optimistic side, but we'll see how it plays out.  I don't waste my energy getting upset about what a columnist thinks the Bills will do.

    At some point someone will finally outbid DirecTV for the rights to ST.  Hopefully it will be Verizon and I can get it on FIOS.

    Almost everyone on this board wanted Rosen over Allen.

     

    I predict Josh has a breakout year, makes numerous long connections with Diggs and Bills win first playoff game in decades.  2/3 of the remaining anti-Joshers will finally raise the white flag and succumb to his awesomeness.

     

    I also predict that the remaining 1/3 of anti-Joshers will continue to prefer being consistently wrong to accepting reality.

    Im as pro-cop as can be, from a police family, but from the info publicly available this was a questionable stop followed by an unnecessary arrest.  Makes all cops look corrupt.  It seems to be endmic to the County.

     

    Public perception will not change until we hold bad cops accountable.  The guy who killed Floyd had numerous complaints INCLUDING FROM OTHER OFFICERS but was allowed to continue unchecked.  The signs were there.  The law enforcement community has to be willing to confront this.
