  1. Agreed, man. Gotta get to 5-2 and then it's all gravy. 6-1 and we'll lock up home field in week 16.
  2. Why does everyone think White won't be back? Unless he suffers a setback, he should absolutely be ready for the opener. Edit: Disregard. He had surgery on 12/15 and the average recovery time is 10 months. Guess that puts him on the field some time in October.
  3. Just up the road from me in San Diego. Would love to go. Wonder what the cheapest ticket is?
  4. Really great stuff. You can see that they're focused on drafting guys with good character. Super pumped for 2022.
  5. I used to feel bad, but can't help but think the guy is more fortunate, than unlucky at this point. How many guys throw 5 picks in a half of football and have nearly $5 million in career earnings to show for it? You don't like to see a nice guy like Nate become the punchline that he is, but he's got a loving family and a load of cash compared to most working stiffs. I doubt he's feeling sorry for himself.
  6. I like Basham over AJE going forward. Can't help but think AJ could be the odd man out with Shaq now in the mix. Wonder if he holds any value in a trade?
  7. I, for one, am not going to dog these dudes until I see them fail with Tyreek on the field on Sundays.
  8. I voted other, just because there always seems to be a later round guy who emerges and becomes a stud. I think Tariq Woolen, assuming Pete Carroll sticks around, could become that elite corner in 3 or so years.
  9. Interesting to see the level of interest in Eastern Europe, particularly in the former Soviet Bloc countries. I wonder if it's because our peak period of success coincided with the fall of the Berlin Wall/Communism?
  10. He's born and raised in Houston, so it's a nice homecoming for him and he gets to mentor some young guys with Lovie Smith. Best of luck to you, Jerry. Thanks for the memories and for helping set the foundation for the "process" oriented Bills. You'll always be a Buffalonian in our hearts.
  11. My two favorite things in the world (besides my kids): the Bills and golf! Going to be a great summer between this, The Match and the start of Bills training camp. 😁
  12. And now that we've whet our appetites, time for the main course: Legendary Bills QB Best Throws
  13. Why can't Araiza learn the holding job? He doesn't have experience since he was punting and placekicking at SDSU, but it doesn't mean he can't learn to do it competently before the season starts. He's got 3+ months to work on it. Also, guy made 96/97 extra points during his career and was 22/26 as a kicker back in 2019 (not so great last year). That's a nice insurance policy should Bass ever get nicked up during a game.
  14. There are two Monday night games overlapping? Has that ever been done before?
  15. Well, this isn't true at all. Moss was productive as a rookie and was in a good position to run away with the starting RB spot before injuring his foot in the 2020 postseason. On OBL on Monday, Beane was gushing about Moss and said that he was still dealing with his recovery from the foot thing all of last year and basically couldn't cut at all off of his left foot. Assuming he's 100% heading into 2022, he's absolutely in the mix to split carries with Motor or possibly supplant him as the starter. Duke Johnson was signed in case they didn't get a hybrid/pass-catching back that they liked in the draft. They've filled that spot now with Cook. I expect Johnson to be traded or cut before the final regular season roster is finalized.
  16. True. Our inability to get home against Mahomes and/or cover for the majority of the game were the real reasons for the loss. "13 Seconds" was just a continuation of everything that came before it. Thankfully, we went out and addressed those weaknesses. (Think about White/Elam in that game vs. Wallace/Jackson). Now it's prove it time.
  17. I agree, Shaw. If I know anything about the guys he's assembled, it's that they are hard workers who will come into 2022 hungrier than ever to win a championship. Add in these new pieces and the confidence Josh had to have gained from going God-mode against the Pats and Chiefs, and I really like our chances of having a special season.
  18. Probably that. But if he was stoned on Friday night, that makes two of us.
  19. I watched Shakir a decent amount being a West Coaster and staying up late to watch MWC and Pac-12 football. The guy is an absolute steal for a 5th rounder. Super productive, quick and great character and work ethic. I think he's going to be one of the best slot receivers in the league in 3 years time. And he's going to learn a ton from working alongside Diggs. Really, really excited to see how he develops in Buffalo.
  20. Balls of steel. I'd hate to be sitting across from Beane at the poker table.
  21. How about Rusty? Since he may only punt eight times all season. Or "The Yeti"
  22. Starting to really warm to this draft haul. And as much as some here have bemoaned not getting Josh enough help, we have a ton of interesting offensive chess pieces with Crowder, Howard, McKenzie, Cook and Shakir. I really think Shakir has a great chance of becoming an elite slot guy.
  23. Love this pick. Feeling much better about this draft with the Shakir and Araiza picks!!!
  24. Hard not to feel like we just totally bungled things in the 2nd round.
  25. Not feeling great about the WR situation now.
