I wouldn't read too much into that video. Looks as if he's taped up, so that would be effecting his gait. He's not in a boot and he's out there on his feet moving around, so he's probably not that far off. Guessing he'll be a gametime decision on Monday, and he'll definitely be ready to roll week 3 in Miami.

Well, obviously. But if we had to play a road playoff game against one of these two teams, I'd much rather play in front of a neutral crowd in LA than in KC (yet again).

Yeah, I think Josh sort of wanted to give all of America "the Josh Allen Experience" on the national stage. I've seen him slide or duck out of bounds plenty over the past couple of years. The hits he takes are being overblown and the narrative is being pushed by the national media, especially by many folks who have finally begrudgingly given Josh respect only to add the caveat that it won't last due to his style of play.

Love his comments on the rookie CBs. You can tell the team has a ton of confidence in them. If we can stay relatively healthy, this defense is going to be SICK once Tre gets back.

Throwing Guru Tom House on Josh Allen (and other QBs)
TheBrownBear replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd prefer that we not throw a house on Josh Allen, but that's just me. -
Why I hate Bills playing Thursday Night.....
TheBrownBear replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate the wait this week, but otherwise love the primetime games. Lets me get in another beach day or round of golf on Sundays here in sunny SoCal. 😀 -
I think the Bills and Chiefs are 1A and 1B in which ever order you'd like. Looking at yardage and points, very similar levels of domination by both teams. They have separated themselves as the class of the NFL. If I were to put the Bills No. 1, it's because I don't think Arizona is a good team, which was reflected in them being a 6 point dog to the Chiefs at home. They've been trending poorly since the second half of 2021 and they are without Hopkins. But still a dominant road win by the Chiefs and they answered the post-Tyreek question emphatically.

He is up there with the worst I've ever seen. Jim Tomsula level. Shockingly bad.

Hackett staking an early claim to worst NFL head coach.

Dumb challenge

Lol. He's got a crap ton of weapons. Hackett just can't scheme at all. He stinks.

Hackett sucks. So glad we have Dorsey (and Allen).

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
TheBrownBear replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd argue that they've tried to provide him with weapons. They've drafted 6 receiving threats in the first 3 rounds since 2018 (Brown, Bateman (both 1st rounders), Duvernay, Boykin, Hurst and Andrews). That's a lot of draft capital spent at WR and TE to support Lamar Jackson. Yes, we went out and traded for Diggs and signed Beasley, but we otherwise didn't go out and draft a bunch of weapons for Josh. I think a lot of it comes down to Roman's system not really utilizing the WRs very much. I think Lamar has had fine weapons (barring last season where everyone was dropping like flies) during his time there. Brown is a good WR and they've been fairly stocked at RB and TE (obviously). Again. I do think Lamar is a unique and very good QB - top 10 in my opinion - and deserves to be compensated accordingly. I've never been one to say Lamar sucks or is a one trick pony. People love to pit Lamar against Josh for reasons that have nothing to do with their play on the field. I hope we can move past that and just appreciate these guys' individual greatness for what it is. -
Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement

I like Lamar. He's a good QB, but I think people are beginning to sour on him because he hasn't shown any progress (and might have actually regressed) since his transcendent MVP season. So, he's now in year 5 and he's got one really elite season under his belt that came back in 2019, and he's otherwise been meh ('18 and '21)-to-goodish (2020). That's really where much of the fan criticism is coming from, along with the Ravens' hesitancy to fully "break the bank" for him. He's in a prove it year. If he bounces back and shows that the '19 MVP season wasn't a fluke, he'll get paid handsomely. -
Any team with Mahomes (and Kelce) is always a legitimate threat. We need home field advantage, because we are absolutely going to see these guys again in January.

Holy cow. That Browns kicker would have made that from 70 yards

Tua and his sensitive fan base (JA17 Related)
TheBrownBear replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think the book is closed on Tua yet. He's just entering his third season and this will be his first under an offensive guru type of head coach and with a full complement of weapons. I'm not afraid of him ever unseating Josh as the best QB in the division, but he can certainly turn out to be a quality starter capable of taking his team to the playoffs. -

Going against the grain here, but I think he's going to be proven smart for playing this out and hitting FA (or franchise). He's coming off the worst statistical season of his career, but the Ravens are much healthier now and he is primed for a much bigger year. -
Is this the greatest day ever do be a Bills fan?
TheBrownBear replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
51-3 is still the best moment in Bills history, hands down, followed by the Comeback game. And as fun as last night was, last year's drubbing of the Pats was better and I'd argue the 2011 win over the Pats was a more satisfying moment as well. Last night was more on par with the 31-0 destruction of the Pats in 2003. Great start to the season, but it means nothing if we don't keep up this level of play over the course of the season. -
I didn't get that sense. I think his inner child was just finally awakened by the pure joy of Josh's play. Reminds me of the scene in Ratatouille when the old food critic bites into the rat chef's dish.

Came on late. Wasn't really worth listening to, tbh. National morning radio shows have been fun today, though.

Barring injury, I think we could see a 1995 Bryce Paup type year from Von.
