  1. True, but it could be anything at this point. It could be a more minor structural issue that can be corrected with surgery that keeps him out for two months. It could be that he felt himself go a little more numb than he has in the past when tweaking his neck, got the medical workup done at the hospital and it showed zero issues, and he's still uncomfortable about it and wants additional doctors to take a look to make sure he's not endangering his future mobility out there. Obviously, we're free to speculate and worry as much as we'd like, but we won't know anything definitive until we hear it from the docs or Hyde himself. But I do think it's irresponsible for some Fins fan to go spreading hearsay on twitter.
  2. Who's got the Daddy pic? I need that Daddy picture again, lol.
  3. Josh will absolutely kill them if they play man all day long. I'd expect him to throw for 3 and run for 2 more in that scenario and go for over 400 total yards. Also, Jaquan Johnson was awesome in camp and preseason. Kid has a great mind and instincts. Only concern is his speed in the open field against a guy like Hill. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out on Sunday.
  4. I tend to agree, which is why I'm no more worried about this game than the Rams or Titans games. If we protect the ball and play a disciplined ball game, we should win by 10 points.
  5. That guy is just playing the wishful thinking (he's a Fins fan) speculation game based on some other tweets he read. Nothing to see here. Great news on Jackson and about what I expected once we learned there wasn't any structural damage. Probably just a lot of neck soreness and he should be ready to roll next week.
  6. I think it's safe to assume our offense is going to hang somewhere between 31-45 points on these guys. Can the Dolphins score in the 30-40 point range against our defense - even with our depleted secondary? That's the story of the game right there. And someone else mentioned above that the Phins will try to run it down our throats and I tend to agree. McDaniel is going to pull out all the stops in the run game early on to slow down our D line and give Tua a chance to work in playaction and the short passing game. If they can actually pull it off, then I can see this being a close game and a possible loss.
  7. What do you mean? Many posters here miss those "good old days" of ineptitude.
  8. I try to split the difference and stand on my seat the entire game.
  9. Incorrect. He was injured in the 3rd quarter on a pass from Tanny to Bob Woods, just before Milano's interception.
  10. I have a feeling that the Bills are going to bring Tua back to Earth in a big way on Sunday. The guy has had 1 amazing quarter where his receivers were seemingly running free with zero resistance and now he's being talked about as a possible MVP candidate? Other than that 4th quarter, he's been the same pedestrian guy we've seen the past couple of years.
  11. Yikes. That's a long list. I think I'm going to have to list myself as "Acute Anxiety" and "headache" after reading it.
  12. I liked Raheem and thought he could have had a chance to be a contributor after Devin walks. But if we could find a guy like him in the UDFA pool this year, I don't see why we can't find another similar player among the late rounds or undrafteds next year.
  13. Well, not everyone gets to face Justin Fields and Geno Smith in back-to-back weeks.
  14. The team is stacked, is killing opponents and is probably only playing at like 80-85% of its ceiling/capability. National media types keep saying we are playing perfectly, but I'm not seeing that. We are playing really well, but not near our peak (see New England playoff drubbing). I feel really good about our chances, but I will never feel super duper confident until we get by the Chiefs in the playoffs. There isn't a single other team in the league that worries me. I agree. This is a HUGE game, imo, that could determine the trajectory of Miami/Tua and our rivalry going forward. If we can go into Miami and yet again serve them a 40 oz can of whoopazz, it could be a one shot kill to their confidence and season. I really do not want to be playing catch up to Miami in the standings with KC, Baltimore and GB on the menu in the next few weeks.
  15. Lol. I feel you, dude. I was about to call you a troll, but then realized we need someone to play Devil's advocate with all of the Bills ballwashing going on at the moment. So please do carry on.
  16. I appreciate this. Also, for anyone in the CBS yellow area, just know that we get PBR, that's Professional Bull Riding - not Pabst Blue Ribbon, instead of the Bills vs. Phins.
  17. Yep. It's early, but it appears that Beane knocked it out of the park when it comes to addressing our offseason CB depth needs.
  18. Duh. Obviously, we'd rather win every damn game we play. Us losing a handful of close games (which was really more of a statistical anomaly than anything else), doesn't take anything away from the point in the OP. On the whole, we have been absolutely dominating the majority of our opponents.
  19. Same as any offense with a truly great HOF-level quarterback. You have to get pressure with your front four - particularly on the interior; you have to hold up in coverage and keep everything in front of your for pretty much the entire game; AND you have to hope you catch said QB on one of his rare bad days.
  20. I responded with a "vomit" emoji to the OP, but I can see where he's coming from. Outside of the Chiefs playoff game, the way we've been absolutely destroying teams over the past 8 games or so, is almost sort of getting...gulp...a little boring? There is something to watching a game against a quality opponent and finding yourself in a close game in the 4th quarter and thinking, "wow, the Bills are playing really well tonight...they could win this game." But I'm guessing we are going to start seeing some more competitive games starting this Sunday and continuing up through the bye. We've got some good opponents on the way and teams will start to figure out ways to slow down this offense.
  21. I think they lack an identity in those situations, tend to overthink it, and take way too much damn time getting set and snapping the ball. Just get up there, call what you do best and go. Don't think, "hmmnnn, let's try to be a power team this time", trot out Zack Moss and do some heavily telegraphed slow developing power run where he gets hit 2 yards behind the LOS. Either get up there quickly and have Josh sneak it under center or go spread and let Josh hit a quick completion or pick it up with his legs. And if you're gonna run it with a RB, it should be Singletary. He's got the best vision of the bunch and has a nice ability to get skinny and make a couple of yards out of a very small crease. Tough runner for his size too. Moss shouldn't be seeing more than 10 snaps a game, imo.
  22. One of my favorite games as a kid. I remember watching it down the street at a friend's house (in Depew) between playing tackle football in his front yard. All of us boys huddling around the tv and going bonkers when Kelly dove in for the win. Immediately ran outside again and recreated the moment on the lawn.
  23. Yep. Feels a little like the 90s again. Bills and Fish are top dogs, Pats and Jets suck, even baggy clothes are in again.
  24. Our point and yardage differentials are just ridiculous so far this year. And this is against two 2021 playoff teams.
