  1. WORST LOSS IN FRANCHISE HISTORY
  2. Tua has become really really good, despite what a handful of folks here believe.
  3. STs has probably netted us a good 50 yards already
  4. Smart play from the vet returner.
  5. Perfect timing as we will likely resemble the drought era teams he played on!
  6. Could be an ugly next few weeks for the Bills. Ugh.
  7. These guys are just duds. It's infuriating because we hear how they had great offseasons, they'll look good in camp and preseason, and then they'll flash for like 4-6 quarters early in the regular season before completely disappearing.
  8. Did you watch the video linked above? Dawkins is in great position and when the defender tries to swim around him, Dawkins just pancakes him while finishing the block. In no way, shape or form is that a hold.
  9. I say play Allen until his arm falls off. Then tell him to tuck the ball under his left arm and run towards the endzone, hurdling obstacles as needed.
  10. NGL, that was another thought I'd had. We could tank this season for Bryce Young or whomever and then convert Josh to TE when he returns from his 2 tommy john surgeries in 2025.
  11. Davis, Saffold, Crowder and Knox for me. Crowder was signed to be the starting slot receiver (not McKenzie) and he was below average before his injury. Davis is just too inconsistent, and I didn't realize his hands were an issue until a few weeks ago. Now I'm legitimately concerned about a real lack of depth at WR. We really need Shakir to step up over the second half or we are going to watch an ailing Josh continue to struggle.
  12. I thought I'd be cute and vote remainder of the season. Not that I believe it, but I wanted to be the first of the sky is falling crowd. He might decide to get two Tommy John surgeries. Just to be extra careful.
  13. Yeah, this sort of reminds me of when Derrick Rose continued to sit out for the Bulls months after he was cleared to return from his torn ACL. He just didn't feel confident in his leg or it's ability to hold up at top speed in game conditions. Can't help but wonder if Tre isn't going through a similar mental road block. He also recently made comments about having to face a life outside of football. I'm not expecting him at All-Pro form on the field anytime soon (if ever).
  14. I'm almost starting to wonder if Josh isn't concussed? The picks we've seen in the past two weeks aren't about a bum throwing elbow or whatever. They are inexplicable, especially that first throw yesterday. It's as if he didn't recognize a Jets player was there. Concerning.
  15. This is Josh Allen. He just had a hot 2.5 years. All kidding aside, I'm going to blame the bye. We did the exact same thing last season coming off the bye. The team seems to lose focus and isn't sharp at all the few weeks after the bye. For now, I'm going to trust Josh and the coaches to get it figured out and get this thing back on the rails.
  16. Josh is the window. There's a chance he ends up on the Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks before it's all said and done. And if that's the case, you're looking at three or more Super Bowl championships.
  17. Far better offensive line. Better secondary (given our current injuries). Receiver is maybe a wash or slight lean to Eagles. Better RBs. Better tight ends. D-line is fairly even after the Quinn trade. Bills have better linebackers and special teams units. We of course have Josh Allen and they don't.
  18. The Minnesota win is really the only one that stands out as being impressive, and part of me believes that the Vikings are a bit of a paper tiger benefiting from their own weak schedule. There was also the possibility of it being an emotional letdown game for the Vikes after what seemed to be a season defining win week 1 against the Packers. That's not to say that the Eagles aren't possibly a GREAT team. I just don't think they've been tested enough to definitively proclaim that as fact.
  19. The Eagles have a ton of talent. They're probably the best roster in the league top to bottom. And Hurts has progressed. At the end of the day, it really comes down to how dominantly their O and D lines can impose their will over the other contenders, because, absent that, I'm taking Allen and Mahomes over Hurts every day of the week. I've got the Titans and second Dallas games circled on the calendar, since those should serve as litmus tests for what this Eagles team really is.
  20. How many yards will Nyheim Hines have rushing ? 6 yards How many yards receiving? 38 yards Punt returns? 3 for 37 yards Kick off returns ? 0 Touchdowns, how many? 1 receiving A modest, but productive start to his Bills career.
  21. Same here, man. Not sure there was anything more fun as a kid than that feeling of running, hitting and being hit while playing football. It's a total rush and it gives you a sense of confidence and teaches you how to tap into your physical strength and toughness in ways that other popular team sports can't (I ended up playing varsity baseball, basketball and golf instead of football). I know these guys aren't forced to play it and almost all of them LOVE doing it, and view injuries as just part of the game. I still can't help but love watching it, despite knowing the toll it takes on these guys. It's complicated for sure. I have two boys and have never pushed them into football. They're into soccer (which I find boring...lol) and baseball. I'd probably let them play football if they really wanted, but I wouldn't encourage it and I'd try my best to make sure they understood all of the immediate and future risks before they took the field.
  22. Lol. What in this thread made you believe the guy is dead?
