  1. The GDT, especially, is a place to vent our most basic, unfiltered, often irrational, certainly frequently idiotic, and typically anxiety induced human emotions in real time. Its a "get it off your chest" space - at least for me. I'm not ashamed to say I've posted some really embarrassing things in there over the years in hindsight. Bottom line - we all love the Bills and love Josh and want them to succeed. Outsiders began telling us early in the year that this team and Josh Allen were essentially perfect and going to stroll to a championship, and some of us started to buy into that. Last few weeks we've discovered that this team is actually a collection of human beings and not T100's. This realization has been a blow to our fanbase's collective psyche. The increase in "moronic take" and "hate posting" is a byproduct of that.
  2. Detroit offense averages 405 yards/game at home. We held them to 325 without Edmunds, White, Miller or Groot. But let's fire Frazier.
  3. On the flip, we just won 2 straight road games with half of our backups playing.
  4. Or 110 points away from being 0-11
  5. He's often in perfect (or at least pretty good position), but he's really struggling to locate the ball right now. I'm not ready to write him off, but he clearly needs more work if he's going to take the next step.
  6. We are 8 points away from being 11-0. Could the 2019 team say that?
  7. I agree, but the tackling was pretty poor at times, and of course the Bass PAT miss, which is why I think some are saying we didn't "deserve" it. But a win is a win. Just continue to stack 'em and everything will work out in the end.
  8. Some of the worst tackling I've seen in a long time
  9. Dane Jackson is a friggin sieve.
  10. I honestly think we could see a 33-19 final score. Team looks DEAD
  11. Glad we keep Taiwan Jones around for that
  12. No one insulted the country of Mexico...lol. People are so damn sensitive. I think it's more like: the premise is a high testosterone meathead man travels to foreign country away from wife and kids - now, what's the most likely type of trouble he's going to get into? And this goes for if the game was played in London, France, Germany, etc.
  13. Agree with you, OP. I think this is Cook's first true "breakout" game. I think he breaks a long TD run or reception and goes over 120 total yards. Edit: Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else on this board!
  14. Yep, and sorry, but the Poyer comparisons that these White critics keep making don't hold much water either. There's a huge difference between a hyperextended elbow on a safety and an ACL/Knee issue with a CB. Even if Poyer were to reinjure the elbow, it's not a potentially career altering injury.
  15. He's still really young and has great physical tools. Someone will eagerly take him on as a reclamation project next year once he's cut by the Jets.
  16. Yeah, but once he's cleared the Bills staff will want to ramp him up to game speed over 8-10 weeks like Tre, so he probably won't be back until next Thanksgiving at the earliest. I keed, i keed.
  17. There's definitely something to be said for being the "hunted" and every middling team's "Super Bowl."
  18. Jefferson was actually well covered most of the day. Almost every single one of his catches was contested, and some of them were just ridiculous individual plays on his part. Not sure about Cooper, since I didn't watch the game closely as I was traveling, but he was blanketed on the first touchdown catch and came up with a highlight reel grab. Seems as if our DBs can stay with these dudes, but they just aren't finishing plays right now.
  19. Kind of an early (or late) start. I think I'll just stick with the live version on Thursday morning.
  20. I actually like our running back situation now that Cook is looking more comfortable and Hines has been swapped in for Moss. Yeah, no bruiser, but I suppose that is what Josh is for should we absolutely need 1 tough yard.
  21. The guy looks so good with the ball in his hands. Is he at all capable of playing the slot, or is that just not in his skillset? Hard to imagine him being that big of a drop off from McKenzie as a route runner and he's clearly better than him in space. It's honestly pretty frustrating to see his talent being wasted. What's interesting is that Colts fans had the same complaints about his usage in Indy. So, what is it that the coaches see that we fans aren't picking up on?
  22. You wouldn't be a Bills fan (at least, not one with a functioning brain) if you didn't entertain those nightmare scenarios.
  23. I agree. The question is when does it become a necessity for the Coach/GM to level that ultimatum to White? We are still on track for the playoffs and still control our destiny within the division. I'm comfortable waiting through the Pats game (depending on the outcome of that game).
  24. Well, he was medically cleared (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), and I'm sure the staff figured, "he's 'healthy', so let's get him back into game shape sooner rather than later." It's not as if these confidence issues might not still be there if we had started his active practice window 6 weeks later. In that scenario, we have precious little time to decide if he's a guy we can count on for the playoffs. Yeah, things don't seem to be working out too great at the moment, but maybe that changes and maybe these extra few weeks of practice are just what Tre needs to get right both physically and mentally and we see him as an important contributor to a deep playoff run.
