  1. A Josh/Diggs/Moulds pairing would be unstoppable.
  2. Yeah, he's basically Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott, right? We have a saying in my family: "Drive for show. Drive for show!".
  3. I'm good with it. People can chirp on both sides leading up the game to hype themselves (or the matchup) however they see fit. The great thing is that the players and coaches themselves get to settle it on Sunday at 3PM. This is a big moment for a lot of dude's legacies and narratives (Who is NFL QB 1b - Josh or Burrow?, McDermott and big games, Frazier vs. elite passing teams, Joe "Cool" Burrow and his ability to overcome the odds with a crap o-line, what's left in Tre's tank?, etc. etc. etc.). I can't wait!!!
  4. Yeah, sounds like the amount of time that his lungs were out of commission caused some damage - hopefully, just short term, and he'll make a full recovery. Still great news that he's up and about and around his teammates again. All in all, pretty much a best case scenario given where he was on that field a few weeks ago.
  5. Haha. I'm 44 and still do the dumb stuff. Maybe my game will mature by 45. 😜 I'm 5'8", so I have to play to my strengths and hunt the 3 ball. No dunking for me unless it's against my kids on the Fisher Price hoop. A better analogy for me is golf. I hit the ball pretty long, so I'm often forced to decide between taking the chance of driving the green on a short par 4 or taking the "layup" of an iron, wedge and an almost guaranteed par.
  6. Lebron Miyagi - i hope I'm never stuck guarding you in my rec league.
  7. Yep. The takeaway is that both teams stink and will lose once they have to face a good actual NFL starting quarterback.
  8. Every expert on ESPN just said that they would rather start their team with Joe Burrow than Josh Allen. So there's a little extra motivation for Josh
  9. Yep. Proper route is to marry that GND, then buy her a big chest and giant butt and you're all set!
  10. I ain't gonna talk S about them, but it's a playoff week and the gloves are off on both sides and that's fine by me. We can go back to being "friends" after we win the Super Bowl. Edit: just checked out that thread and i'm disappointed to see what a disingenuous turd that Caesar guy is. Seemed like a solid bro that played it straight when he was around here a few weeks ago, and I thought we treated him very fairly in kind.
  11. I thought the Dolphins did a masterful job of keeping Josh in the pocket on Sunday. He was looking to run, but their spy had a beat on him on almost every attempted scramble.
  12. Whew. I'm relieved now that I know that expert "Clucko the Chicken" has picked the Bills to win. https://nflpickwatch.com/profile/nfl/clucko-the-chicken
  13. This dude is beyond just a little mentally ill or CTE'd up. He's a sick and twisted dude and a danger to society. Guy needs to be locked up for something, hopefully some sort of non violent offense, and then he can receive whatever mental health care/rehab he needs from behind bars.
  14. My point is that it took a fluke-like performance (multiple turnovers, drops and special teams gaffes) to keep Miami in that game. The Bills dominated the line of scrimmage and were clearly the superior team. The Bengals game was essentially the opposite, with Cincy in the Miami role and just having enough juice to take advantage of the Ravens' errors. Cincy was fortunate that the Ravens handed them the game in the 4th quarter.
  15. Not really. The Dolphins were very fortunate to be in the game at all. We dominated them to the tune of a +200 yardage advantage. The Bengals, on the other hand, were actually dominated by the Ravens who outgained them by 130 yards (second straight week that the Bengals failed to clear the 300 total yard mark).
  16. I love it and it feeds into Josh's "chip on the shoulder" underdog persona. He'll be at his best this Sunday.
  17. 50/50. Either they will or they won't.
  18. I agree. I live in San Diego and Tony Gwynn Jr. has a radio show here. He always calls Josh "Brett Favre" with superior physical ability. I'm starting to think it an apt comparison.
  19. Took a lot of attempts to get there. He finished 30th in ypa.
  20. Dude. He threw 733 passes this season. That's where all those yards came from. He was 18th in quarterback rating, 18th in QBR, and 30th in yards per attempt. He is a very mediocre quarterback at this stage of his career and he's got nowhere to go but down given his advanced age.
  21. Somewhere in the middle of his record setting run I came to respect him and accept that he was truly great regardless of how I felt about him torturing me as a Bills fan. That won't change when he retires. He's got a bit of an insufferable dork vibe that makes me think he wouldn't be the most fun guy to golf or slam beers with, but I think he's probably alright in real life. And now that he's suffered through his divorce, it humanizes him a bit more in my eyes.
  22. Agree with the OP and just goes to show you how thin the margin is between a win and loss, or a nail biter and a blowout in the NFL.
  23. We sucked today. It's okay. We don't have to make excuses or rationalize it by comparing it to the performances of other teams. The Bengals sucked too. The good thing is we both advanced and get to duke it out next week.
  24. Harbaugh and Staley should be booking their flights to Thailand right now.
  25. WTF are the Ravens doing? Harbaugh sucks.
