  1. Seriously, what does "accountability for McD" even look like outside of firing him? The guy has won 5 straight division titles and taken us to the playoffs in 7 of 8 years after inheriting an organization that hadn't made the playoffs in 17 years. He's made changes at OC, DC and ST coordinator over the years in an effort to make us better and get us over the hump - it's not as if he isn't aware or trying to address issues as they arise. Trust me, I wish he was perfect too, but we need to be realistic, the guy has built something special and ain't getting fired absent some type of complete collapse and likely multiple missed postseasons. So, for everyone that hates the guy and wants him gone, then I guess you should wish for that outcome.
  2. To be fair, Bass was good last season and delivered in the big moments. Having said that, I still don't trust him.
  3. I was referring to the desperate 50 yard heaves into triple coverage that we started to see all too often under Dorsey, not the occasional risky throw to sustain a drive. As for your other point, how often have we lost playing said efficient, turnover free football since Brady took over? I mean, we've lost like 4 regular season games (not counting the finale) in nearly 1.5 years. I wouldn't say any of them were because our offense was too conservative.
  4. That was my initial thought. Guy had been hitting a fade and then he's facing the tee shot that demands the draw. Hit one like that yesterday at Torrey. Lol
  5. Accurate, quick decision maker, but immobile and a complete noodle arm. Paying Dan Marino money for Chad Pennington talent.
  6. Rarely feel this way, but I think the Bills steamroll the Fins tonight. Just a hunch. Not sure where to drop this, but Alaina posted a nice little article about Josh on ESPN this morning: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42445869/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-new-perspective-2025-season
  7. He was good in 2020, but generally mediocre in this regard (and INT%) from 21-23. He's been elite since Brady took over as OC.
  8. I think it's Josh. We still see way too many plays that don't spring a free receiver where Josh has to hold the ball too long or scramble around. In the past he might have chucked it into trouble. Now he's taking a few yard run or opting for an easier outlet.
  9. When was the last time that Josh threw a wing and a prayer punt-pick? I feel like those mostly disappeared the moment that Brady took over (I could be wrong), whereas they were a very frequent occurrence under Dorsey.
  10. On second viewing, you're right. The defender attempts to "break down" on both plays, he just gets knicked by Torrence on Cook's run. I retract my earlier statement.
  11. Wow! F'ing awesome! Excited for you and your kid! I brought my longhaired guitarist 11 year old son to Buffalo this summer from SoCal and he loved it. Checked out the new stadium construction and bought some jerseys from the team store. You guys are going to love it! Nothing beats a Buffalo gameday atmosphere and tailgate. Since you'll be down in Allentown, take a quick trip to Elmwood and walk the neighborhood and check out the shops. Make sure you see the architecture of city hall downtown. Swing by Delaware Park if you have a chance. Canalside is cool too. (this assumes the weather is good today?)
  12. I know about the old cup, but guys might think about adding a visor too with Wilkins around.
  13. I think you're partially right, but there's a lot of subtlety that may be at play here. You can see the difference in the aggressiveness with which 44 attacks the hole in the two plays. The slight hesitation on the Cook run allows Cook the space for the initial jump cut and for Torrence to get a block on him. On the other hand, 44 attacks the hole without hesitation and clocks Davis. Is this just a case of 44 playing the Davis run better, or is the hesitation on the Cook play because he fears and respects (or probably even coached to be prepared for) Cook's explosiveness and slipperiness such that he takes that tenth of a second to breakdown in anticipation of Cook's change of direction? Whereas, no fear of that with Ray Davis?
  14. I pray this guy can stay healthy, because he looks like a first team all-pro right now. Just completely dominated today.
  15. He's a work in progress and was always considered a project. I didn't expect to see his best until years 3-4.
  16. I'm fine with this so long as it is a Miami Dolphins home game.
  17. Yep, pretty common modern story. Socially awkward kid spends too much time isolated or online at the very same time his mental illness begins to emerge. Almost every one of our high profile shooters fits this bill and it really has nothing to do with political ideology.
  18. I have no problem with people criticizing his views (I disagreed with him on almost everything), even though it borders on unseemly in light of his recent assassination, but there is no place for expressing joy over the killing of another human being because you disagree politically, or even worse, gleefully expressing your hope that other political enemies are targeted next. These people are really ghoulish and pathetic, sad human beings who have clearly lost their way.
  19. You can't be serious. We had nearly 500 yards of offense and our starting receivers had 237 yards between them.
  20. You're right. I hate the whataboutism. There are loons celebrating violence on both sides. We must denounce all political violence if we want to continue living in a peaceful and free society.
  21. My 70 year old father has been begging for all 2nd Amendment advocates to be shot for years. It's amazing how otherwise normal and healthy people can be driven to extremes by politics.
  22. He's not kidding. There is a huge cohort of young Gen Z men who are deeply resentful and willing to act out violently if activated. We desperately need good-hearted unifying leadership in this country and unfortunately that is nowhere to be found.
  23. I checked out the responses on BlueSky and TikTok and there are thousands of people celebrating his death. I didn't agree with his politics, but at least he was always willing to sit down with anyone and have a civil conversation. I don't want to go overboard and we have no information on the shooter, but it's hard not to feel like we are slipping into some dark times.
  24. Argh...my ADD got me there. Thought we were discussing actual quarterback rating, not QBR. As for the total QBR, looks like Josh probably got dinged for his rushing ypc and just the pure amount of "plays" the he was credited with?
  25. It's mostly an efficiency metric and seems to heavily weigh yards per attempt, so it makes sense that Lamar was rated higher. It doesn't measure clutchness or the quality of your throws and is no substitute for the eye test.
