  1. Holy hell, Eisen is horrendous.
  2. Let's not turn Josh into Trent Edwards, please.
  3. Broken f'ing leg? You gotta be kidding me.
  4. Personally, I'm still going. I'll sleep after the game.
  5. Great story! Congrats to John! Also, it's pretty funny to think about going from a profession where your colleagues are guys like Tyreek Hill to becoming an MIT professor.
  6. I'm sure they're turning over those stones too. Claypool COULD provide them with the big target redzone threat and 50/50 deep ball guy that they're currently missing. I'm not saying it's a great move (though I suppose it could turn into a good one), just that it's not completely illogical or useless to the Fins.
  7. Not a bad move for the Dolphins. Get a potential asset for next to nothing. They're going to be hamstrung by the cap, Chubb and Hill trades, and an upcoming Tua so they're in "all-in" mode right now.
  8. This is really unfortunate. Groot's been a beast. We didn't need this kind of setback, but I guess that's the nature of football.
  9. Stick his name and OJ's on a bathroom stall in the new stadium.
  10. He played like 14 games. Also, 4th down slide against Denver with the playoffs on the line. He gets as much love as he deserves.
  11. Here's 13 minutes of misery to remind you that on any given Sunday... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaaDe6Z5vOM
  12. Ain't happening. The Fins are going to slaughter them. Then the Giants get to come to WNY and get destroyed again on SNF. Must be real fun to be a Giants fan right now.
  13. I can sort of appreciate the sentiment, but I've got to disagree that there are a handful of QBs in the league that compare to Josh at peak form. There's only one guy that can do what Josh does, but consistently does it better, and that's Mahomes. Yes, there's other dudes that do things really well from an accuracy, mental processing, arm strength, running standpoint, but no one (again, besides Mahomes) combines all of those traits like Allen when he's playing smart. And getting back to the general intent of the OP, Allen and Mahomes are head and shoulders above every other QB for pure entertainment factor and pulling rabbits out of the hat type of plays.
  14. How is no one cracking up in the press room? Buncha Baylor guys in there?
  15. I like how the DB isn't remotely keyed into the running play coming towards him either. Him and Diggs might as well have been on separate planets.
  16. Is there a single player on the active roster that has a "Carolina connection?" Couldn't think of any off the top of my head.
  17. I think Tre will bounce back from this if his head is right and he wants to continue. Is there any chance that he could put on weight and transition to safety or is he just too small?
  18. Good bump. I was thinking about this last night in the shower. Sunday's game served as sort of a post-Bengals debacle palate cleanser that the Commanders and Raiders games didn't quite provide. The fanbase really needed Sunday for our collective psyche, imo.
  19. Yep, now the Bills need to watch their back and mindset. They are on the emotional high right now.
  20. Yes, their offense is potent and they will have better days, but they had 150 yards in the first two drives, and 120 yards (including the big Achane run) in the 4th quarter after we were up by 28 points. I'd say those were garbage time yards. It wasn't just our offense being better. Our defense completely destroyed them for the majority of the game, certainly after those first two drives. Edit: Also, just wanted to add that I had a lot of fun reading FinHeaven last night. Lol.
  21. Agree, Bill. Traveling West to East for more than a couple of hours is tough. And the body clock isn't primed to play that early when you aren't accustomed to it. I'm worried about it.
  22. They "know", but they always still seem to wait until there's MRI confirmation to announce it. I'm a UCLA basketball guy and during our last game of the regular season, one of our stars, Jaylen Clark, went up for a layup and when he came down it looked just like Tre, like he had been shot in the calf or something, and he had the same awful reaction where he was almost instantaneously despondent. We didn't get official confirmation of the injury until he received an MRI and his swelling subsided. Tre is done for 2023, but should be able to come back by the beginning of next season.
  23. Jets really gonna tease us tonight, eh?
