  1. Of course, we are still contenders, but with the defense about to take a step back, we really need to find a way to be consistently very good on offense from week to week. We can't afford to sleep walk through 2-3 quarters and expect to walk out with victories. We need to come out quick, put some points on the board and let our defense play with a lead and do what they do best. By the way, Epenesa, what a revelation yesterday. Has the light truly finally gone on for him? If so, he's a legit difference maker going forward.
  2. I saw him in on a lot of plays early. While not great, I thought he was generally reading and filling well enough. Then he sort of disappeared. Next thing I knew, I was seeing a lot of Dodson in the fourth quarter turning his head as Etienne ran by him. I'd much rather watch Williams take some lumps out there than seeing Dodson do mostly nothing. But I'm not the coach.
  3. I watched it at my parents' house. Going back to the 13 second game, we are something like 2-4 when I watch a game with them at their place.
  4. Numbers are numbers, but there's two big things working against Dorsey from a fan appreciation perspective: 1. Aesthetics - You watch teams like Miami, San Francisco, KC and Philly and you just salivate over all of the interesting motions and pre-snap looks they give, how often they scheme guys wide open and how many of their weapons they are able to get involved and consistently utilize. It just looks so easy for them. I get it. They've got a lot of talent, but I'd argue that we do as well. We know what guys like Knox and Cook can look like (Harty is trending there too) when they are put in good positions to make plays. Far too often, things look "hard" for the Bills' offense. Maybe it's just Josh holding it too long, but the play design doesn't inspire confidence in Dorsey. 2. We have a HOF truly unicornesque QB in his a prime paired with a HOF borderline GOAT route-running WR in his prime. This offense should be top-5 by default based on those two pieces (paired with a competent o-line, of course) alone. You see what a guy like Daboll did with them versus what he's working with now. He went from league darling to what looks like a bottom-3 offensive mind in 18 months. It's hard to shake the feeling that we couldn't replace Dorsey with pretty much any NFL offensive coordinator and get similar or better results.
  5. I wouldn't say we were getting "screwed" particularly, but they did seem overly officious. My Dad and I were discussing how in the NFL, you could technically throw a flag on every single play. The good refs set parameters early in a game that you're gonna get flagged for clearly egregious and impactful infractions. These guys just seemed to call anything and everything they came across that could be interpreted as an infraction.
  6. I like the messages questioning his effort and level of engagement. Already makes me look forward to reading the lovely posts about Milano in 12 months.
  7. I'd like to see us try out Harris as the lead back. Line up under center and get him running downhill. I trust Josh to convert 3rd and 3s. I'm tired of getting behind the sticks with slow developing draw plays. Give it to the guy that runs downhill and gets tackled moving forward. That guy is Harris (or Murray).
  8. Could be a lisfranc for Kelce. They occur in non contact twisting situations like that.
  9. Correct. If it's just a break and an MCL sprain or meniscus, there's always hope he could return for the playoffs.
  10. It sucks but I'll sure as hell continue to watch so long as we have great players like Josh Allen and Stef Diggs taking the field every week. It's a long season. Let's see how things play out from here.
  11. Broken leg AND torn knee ligaments? Brutal. Dude must have been in a ton of pain.
  12. Thank God for Bernard's emergence. We'd be in a world of hurt (if we aren't already) without him.
  13. Seriously, other than a controllable rookie contract, what kind of value does he have at this point? I guess we could maybe swap him for a 5th or something?
  14. Games are almost always won and lost at the LOS. Today was no different.
  15. I think that could be it. He heard the whispers about his commitment to tackling and wanted to prove us wrong.
  16. Strawman, much? Those are separate issues from Elam's utter suckage.
  17. I'm just glad he's out of the dog house.
  18. I just figured it out. The NFL Network team is calling the game from the Legends Suite.
  19. What in the hell is even happening?
  20. Dorsey. I mean, what can you say?
  21. Leave Elam in England. JK, I think...
  22. No, I've been told he's just unfairly in McD's dog house.
  23. Too late. The defense is donezo now. We are a middling defense at best going forward with this personnel.
  24. You've got to be ***** kidding me.
