  1. wait patiently for brady and belichek to announce their retirements. As long as they're around we're playing for second place..
  2. brady's simply the best
  3. holy crap...pats are going to boatrace denver. Brady wants to put tis tebow nonsense to rest.
  4. Andy Dalton = Patrick Ramsay. No thanks.
  5. LOL. We would be lucky to get a 4th rounder for him. I love FJAX's attitude and toughness, but he's had one great season - and he couldn't even stay healthy for ten games. He's a 31 year old running back coming off a broken leg. I'd trade him right now if I could get a 2nd rounder for him, maybe even a 3rd.
  6. I don't think Andre will ever get in. He only had a brief window (90-92) where he was arguably the second best wideout in the game. He put up some decent numbers after that, but would anyone here really consider him to be great, say, after the second Super Bowl loss? I was there in person for every game from 1987-96, and at his peak he was a HOF caliber player...problem is his peak just didn't last long enough to make him a real worthy HOF member in my opinion.
  7. chan deseves a third year. Fire edwards and add some pieces to the defense and see how it shakes out next year. Really no point in trying to start all over again while ralph is still with us.
  8. Sign him for a reasonable number. That idiot probably doesn't realize it, but he just saved the bills some money with his stunt today. still need to add another legit receiver to pair with him.
  9. gonna lose this game by 4 tds when it's all said and done. Need to resign sj and bring in a legit threat at wr in the draft. Fitz needs some damn paymakers.
  10. agree w those who say sj is an idiot. He needed to be benched.
  11. how do they get welker uncovered on third down?
  12. No. No playoffs in 2012 = no job, as far as I'm concerned.
  13. I'd trade him in the offseason if you can get decent value. He's too old to rely on and is unlikely to stay healthy for a full season going forward. How many 31+ yr old rbs do you remember making the probowl? Spiller is the future. If you can get a second or third for fred, ship him off to a contender. He'd be a great fit for someone like new england.
  14. I had us at 5-11 or 6-10. I thought our linebackers, ends, and oline sucked too much to be any better. I even thought 4-12 was possible after trading evans. having said that, I'm not in the least bit pleased with the way we finished the season. After the 5-2 start, I thought there was no way (minus a fitz injury) that we should finish any worse than 9-7. Gailey is on the hot seat imo and needs to deliver 10 wins next season or he should be fired.
  15. he gets a minimum of one more year, provided that he fires edwards and replaces him with a real dc. Next year's expectations are 10 wins and no worse than 3-3 in the division. Anything short of those benchmarks and he should be fired.
  16. This. It is why I will never jump ship. Life is suffering.
  17. Get over it folks. This was a clear rebuilding year. There is no way in hell that Gailey is fired unless there is some type of player mutiny or something. I expect this team to win 10 games next year. Anything less and Gailey is on the hot seat and/or fired.
  18. I like how some of these fools cite NE, GB and Indy as an example/template for why an "explosive" offense is the way to go. You do realize that those offenses are(were) so explosive for a certain reason, right? Maybe because they were led by three of the top five quarterbacks in NFL history.
  19. Lol...this dude might have another year or two left in him at best. My guess is that this thing never heals properly and we never see him take another snap. Even if he heals enough to make it back on the field, I wouldn't trade more than a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him.
  20. I've accepted the fact that Fitz will never be awesome - he's not athletic enough or accurate enough to be "elite." But he's smart, ballsy, and if surrounded with decent talent, he can get the job done. Get him a serviceable defense and a legitimate 1(2) wideout and I think he's a playoff quarterback.
  21. I remember him as a basketball player at UofA. He was a big time prospect coming in but his skills were so raw and he never developed. Quit basketball to try his hand at football during his senior year and then I think he was signed by the Pats as an UDFA if I'm not mistaken. I think the hope was that he could turn into a poor man's Antonio Gates. I don't see it happening. Gates was a natural - a great college basketball player - before turning to football. Fendi always struck me as an athletic guy with no "feel" for sports.
  22. Even with all of the injuries we are arguably three plays away from being 8-4 right now: - Stevie's "drop" against Cincy - Fitz's terrible underthrow vs. the giants - Stevie's legitimate drop vs. Jets I know, I know, it goes both ways and we could easily be worse than 5-7. Just saying...we are d@mn close to 8-4. If we can bring in some defensive upgrades and get that unit playing to just an average middle-of-the-road level, there's no reason we shouldn't be a real double digit win playoff contender next season. Edit: Lol...JohnnyGold...didn't see your post...sorry for just repeating what's already been covered.
  23. need another entire draft devoted to the d and need to sign minimum of two impact fa's on that side of the ball.
