  1. Lol. Breida should get cut tonight.
  2. Good kick. Shows what I know.
  3. Beanie built this team all wrong for Buffalo winters. Very frustrating.
  4. Well. Game's over. Goodnight fellas.
  5. What does this have to do with Daboll? He ain't dropping the f'ing ball.
  6. I feel you, brother. Just curious, based on that last sentence - do you work in football? Coaching?
  7. It's all in tents and porpoises. Oh, and we are gonna crush New England tomorrow night (I hope).
  8. I think your memory may be failing you. Outside of the 2009 McFumbles game, Brady didn't have many (if any) fourth quarter comebacks against us. They were total team methodical destructions with a few ugly defensive struggles thrown in. Two out of three games against the Brady Pats were thorough ass-kickings from start to finish. And besides the undefeated Randy Moss season, the Pats almost always beat our brains in with the running game and short passing/screen game. It wasn't Brady "dropping dimes" all over the field. It was the exact kind of offensive approach we are seeing from Mac Jones. The "fear factor" is gone because for the first time in 20 years, we have a team that's as good as or better than the Patriots.
  9. Simms had a strong arm and it was basically the only reason he was selected in the first round. He was insanely unpolished coming out of Morehead State. He's more like the Josh Allen story than Mac Jones. Simms eventually became a polished passer and legitimate star after years of injuries and struggles, and probably would have made the HOF if not for all his injuries. I don't see the Mac Jones comparisons unless you're talking late career Simms.
  10. The thought actually made me shiver. Judon is nasty and will eat Dawkins alive. Have to wonder if Dawkins isn't dealing with some extra fatigue issues stemming from his Covid battle in the offseason.
  11. How about a blackout game instead? Like we had against the Chargers in 2008. We won that game and it was the best game that Trent Edwards ever played before the lights went out on his career permanently.
  12. Yeah, I liked TO as a Bill. Made an otherwise forgettable season somewhat watchable, and he was by all accounts a good soldier during his stint in Buffalo.
  13. Geez Louise. Mac Jones is Mac Jones. He isn't Tom Brady, Drew Brees or Baker Mayfield (or Andy Dalton or Trent Edwards or any other unathletic pocket passer who has entered the league over the past 20 years). I will say this, though, over the past 10-15 years, the best quarterbacks who have entered the league have all had +physical traits that set them apart from their peers - be it speed/escapability, extraordinary size/strength, or a Howitzer for an arm. The best quarterbacks (outside of Brady) usually have at least two of these traits (Rodgers, Mahomes, etc.) combined with good-to-excellent accuracy. Jones really only has his brain and an accurate arm, so I think it's an uphill climb for him to become an "elite" player at the position, but maybe he'll turn out to be the one-in-a-million exception like you know who.
  14. Unfortunately, you missed the part where the company rep signed it in his car before heading in for lunch. JK. That's an awesome gift.
  15. Agree with the OP. I also really believe we need to destroy the Pats this Monday. Destroy their will on national TV and show them who's Daddy in the AFC East. I'll take a win, but I'd prefer bloodshed.
  16. Win or lose, the Bills will be my team until the day I die (so long as they stay in Buffalo).
  17. Honestly, we won't know until this Monday. We were certainly superior last season. I think with Star and Spencer Brown in the lineup, we are the better team. Without those two? Not so sure.
  18. You can just come out and say "low IQ."
  19. So, should we draft a new QB? Make a run at Rodgers? What's your solution?
  20. So, they should blow it all up and rebuild or what? A few weeks ago the Pats and Chiefs were two of the worst teams in football and now they look like they are on a crash course for the AFC Championship game. Things can change quickly in the NFL. McDermott has earned the benefit of the doubt from me for now. Today was almost entirely self inflicted and things we can (hopefully) clean up. Let's see how we bounce back on Thursday and against the Pats. I'm not about to wave the white flag at 6-4 in a season where there are no dominant teams from week to week
  21. I don't feel great at the moment, but I think they can turn it around and make something of the season. Definitely need a healthy Star, Edmunds and Spencer Brown though. That much is clear.
  22. This team needed a real ass kicking like this. Make or break point of season
