Their line is in bad shape. LT Chris Samuels may be done for the year and Mike "Big Bust" Williams starts at RT.

I do.. without history, proper persepective would be unattainable.
Actually, the Bills should have been the team from the AAFC to join the NFL, but George Preston Marshall, owner of the Redskins, didn't like us...
Marshall didn't like a lot of "people". Funny how things would have been drastically different if Buffalo gets in and Baltimore was left out when they (The NFL) accepted AAFC teams. No 1958 NFL championship game between the Colts and Giants in "the greatest game ever played"? No Johnny U? No Ralph? etc, etc.
Who knows??

Let's not allow the thread to morph into an uncontrollable beast! Get along folks, for the sake of TBD.

I didn't think we could beat the Jets, but we did despite many injuries. The Panthers have 2 great RB's so the run defense really needs to improve for us to have a shot. I think Fitz will start and will play better since weather shouldn't be a factor. This is the game TO and Lee will break out.
Bills 20
Carolina 16
They have to load up the box, bracket Steve Smith, and make Jake Delhomme beat them with other guys.
-
Not from the NFL, they didn't.
AAFC anyone?

Twenty to 1 says that Parrish is released, the Pats pick him up, and he makes a decent career out of it ala Welker.
Mind-boggling how this team hasn't been able to use him.
The Patriots already have Julian Edelman. They have no need for a backward running, fumbling PR.
-
It's about time they got rid of the "Let's hurry up and punt" offense. It was just killing the defense. Either way, they'll still suck! Here's to better days ahead (post Jauron, Brandon, et al).
-
Im glad someone else in here put on his thinking cap... Everyone else bases their comments on emotion...
This year it was TO brought in to sell tickets. I wont think keeping Jauron would cost Wilson 20K seats... More like 10K.. What will the spin to sell seats be next year?
I still stand by Jauron staying..
Thanks for chiming in Russ.

I remember that Holmgren had promised his wife he would retire after a certain number of years with the Seahawks and was dead set on sticking to that promise- so I don't see this happening.
He has already publicly said that he'd like to come back after the year off and his wife is on board.

Yes! That means Hardy must be close. Just wanna thank TO for bridging the gap until Hardy could take over.
Hardy changes everything.
GO BILLS!!!
Hardy Hardly Har!!

In Tirico's opening, he mentions Braylon Edwards problems dropping the ball and right on cue he drops the ball in warm ups. Jaws and Gruden had trouble containing themselves! Classic!!
-
Do we have any strengths on offense that we should really be emphasizing? Do we go back to the basics of football? Running should be our strength, the pass game ain't working.
The combination of an injury depleted, inexperienced OL and gun shy QB means there are no offensive strengths.

This just in!!!! Only the helmet is missing!!

Exactly. If he's getting his ducks in a row to fire Dick, he can't say so until he pulls the trigger. Hopefully he's really busy interviewing Holmgren and Dan Reeves and will get back to us soon.
Ralph's a successful business man and knows he's about to lose his customer base. I'm sure he's not just sitting idly by eating prunes or whatever. I hope not anyway.
With Holmgren already saying that he's coming back next year, it'd be great if Ralph was really contacting him to get the ball rolling on him being here either during the bye week or at season's end. Highly doubt it though.

And a good draft i.e. talent taken at the correct positions and place in the draft. No frickin reaches and no stinkin' safeties.
Under the current regime...a top 5 pick in 2010 will bring Taylor Mays, S from USC.
-
I thought Brooks got signed by the Pats
That's Seau who is going to the Pats this week.
-
Our LB core is decimated. Time to bring in Derrick Brooks. The guy is old but he went to the pro bowl almost every year and he knows the Cover 2 cold from his days in Tampa.
If I was Brooks, I'd stay at ESPN and tell the Bills NFW.
-
For the most part, I agree with you. In all seriousness though I think they could lose out the string and finish 1 - 15 just like the 1989 Dallas Cowboys. The Texans are playing pretty well and the phish will beat us again.
Sadly, 1-15 is a realistic possibility. This team could be something really good in the hands of the right FO/coach, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
-
Since the 5-1 start last year, this team is now a combined 3-12!!!....how that doesn't call for an immediate house cleaning I'll never know!!!!....Oh yeah...RW Jr is the owner.
-
Oh No! You mean our traditional 7-9 record is in jeopardy!
This team??? 7 wins!!! Puhlease!!!
-
Not even the panthers? Come on!
Sorry man...not even the Panthers!! DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart will both have over 100 yards rushing. Delhomme, who clearly sucks, won't even have to throw. DJ will offer up the same old lame excuses and the misery will go on.
-
No way the Bills beat either the Jets, Panthers, or the Texans. Hopefully Jauron gets put out of his misery during the bye week.
What's the biggest pleasant surprise this year
