  1. You didn't read the article. He rated the Bills receiving corps/weapons as the worst. In my opinion, these five factors should be prioritized in this order when evaluating the landing spot for a young quarterback. If the team he ends up on isn’t strong in at least a couple of these five areas, the odds of him succeeding are slim to none. 1. Offensive coaching/scheme 2. Offensive line/pass protection 3. Head coach/culture 4. Receivers/weapons 5. Defense

  3. In Thurman Thomas' days, Bills-Patriots was very different Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The last time the Buffalo Bills entered a game against the New England Patriots with a better record than their AFC East opponent was Week 4 of the 2012 season, when Buffalo was 2-1 and New England was 1-2. In contrast, in Thurman Thomas' first seven seasons the Bills never had a worse record than the Patriots when they met. It took until Week 16 of the 1994 season when the Bills, then 7-7, met the Patriots, then 8-6. The AFC East has been flipped upside down in the past 25 years, with the once-dominant Bills sliding into mediocrity while the once-lowly Patriots haven risen to become the league's most consistently successful team.

  6. This is just ridiculous. They are posing legitimate questions that should be discussed with the frequency of blowout losses in which the Bills are not competitive. There's no excuse for how poorly the team played against the Colts. Did you expect praise for the coaching staff after such a terrible performance? Vic Carucci isn't making any decisions at OBD so it doesn't matter. Regardless, it's his job to critique every aspect of the operation.
  7. Not going to happen. More on why the Bills are the worst. Do you prefer to look at scoring offense? NFL teams are averaging 24.1 points per game. The Bills have less than half that, 11.6 points per game. The Bills are averaging 3.92 yards per play compared with a league average of 5.67. They lead the league with 12 interceptions. They are tied for 29th with 26 sacks, but they lead the league in sack rate. They rank 31st in third-down conversion rate at 27 percent. Rushing the ball? The Bills are a little better there than they are passing, but they still rank 28th with 3.85 yards per carry, and that could easily get worse if LeSean McCoy has to miss time with a head injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Is there any advice we could give the Bills to fix things? It's hard to go past just "stop being so terrible," but one fix would be to get more efficient on first downs. Right now, the Bills average just 3.56 yards per play on first down, over a yard less than any other offense. That, in turn, makes the other downs harder. The Bills rank second in the NFL in average needed yards on second down (9.1) and second in average needed yards on third down (8.7). The Bills are struggling so much on offense that they could improve a little bit over the second half of the season and still finish as the worst offense we've ever measured. Here's a look at the other teams they are competing with to stand as legends of futility: the 10 worst offenses ever tracked by DVOA.
  8. He's strictly break glass in case of emergency.
  9. Why should they reveal their secret sauce for others to use and rebrand?
  10. VS. NFL.com Game Preview ESPN Game Preview Drew Brees: "We're gonna need our best execution to win" (8:59) Saints quarterback Drew Brees previews this Sunday's road game against the Minnesota Vikings. Eli Apple: "I'm gonna do whatever I can to make this a better ball team" (5:05) New Saints cornerback Eli Apple discusses his role on his new team as well as the Saints' upcoming game against the Vikings.
  11. You should write FBO and tell them their formulas are screwed up even though you admit to not understanding them.
  12. That's how you got talking about it after you looked up the Cards YPG to try and prove they are the worst.
  13. DVOA rankings aren't based on raw YPG so I don't know why you even pointed out what was in the article.
  14. Your stat with your words. I never brought up YPG, you did and I called you on it. Either way whether YPP or DVOA the Bills come up as the worst.
  15. You are hilarious. You posted that not me. "Again, and I hate to sound like a broken record here, but the Cardinals are averaging fewer yards per game than the Bills currently (220-234)." Your words.
  16. Very llawed as I already pointed out. Run with it.
