  1. There's definitely a case to be made for this. I think he's very much stuck in a time warp with regard to his philosophy/approach to offensive football in the modern day NFL.
  2. Get Byron Brown on the line and have him fabricate another key to the city!
  3. However long it takes is not the way to go IMO because Foles could be a better QB than Allen for quite some time.
  4. Quoted from the OP: " I would get Foles via FA next year and let Allen learn behind him for however long it takes."
  5. No matter how many times this is pointed out his name keeps coming up in thread after thread as the answer.
  6. Nagy on Kyle Long, takeaways from win over Jets (22:37) Head coach Matt Nagy addresses the media Monday at Halas Hall. Bears still evaluating Long’s foot injury Bears coach Matt Nagy told reporters Monday that right guard Kyle Long's right foot injury was still being evaluated and more would be known in the next 24-48 hours. Long sustained the injury with 3:23 remaining in Sunday's win over the Jets when a player rolled up the back of his leg while he was blocking on a running play. The 6-6, 316-pounder was helped off the field and then carted to the locker room. 3 things that stood out in Week 8 win The Bears snapped a two-game losing streak and moved back into first place in the NFC North with an impressive 24-10 win over the Jets Sunday at Soldier Field. Here are three things that stood out in the game: (1) After two sub-par outings, the Bears defense reverted to its early-season form. (2) Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky continues to excel with his arm and legs. (3) The Bears clinched the victory by relying on their running game late.
  7. Mahomes was coached very hard by the KC staff last season while he sat to augment physical techniques and mental processing. He needed refinement before he was ready to be unleashed. He also benefited from having Alex Smith around to show him the way as Smith knew he'd be gone after the 2017 season.
  8. Please forgive the OP. He has no ability to see things clearly until such time he removes these.
  9. With a decent veteran in place he very well could have. With Nathan Peterman to start the season, NFW!
  10. It's a fact regardless of circumstances. He sat and your attempt to explain it away is what's silly.
  11. Per Bill Parcells, "You are what your record says you are". 2-6 says terrible football team that is currently in position to draft 4th overall in 2019.
  12. Alexander: "They were all in" (6:04) Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander spoke to the media following the team's game against the Patriots. Alexander discussed the presence of the Bills fan base and how the team can improve moving forward. Williams: "We Need to be Better" (3:31) Bills DT Kyle Williams spoke to the media following the team's game against the Patriots. Williams discussed how turnovers were the deciding factor in the game and how great the fans were for Monday Night Football. McCoy: "Everything is Fixable" (5:09) Bills RB LeSean McCoy spoke to the media following the team's game against the Patriots. McCoy discussed the team's struggles on offense and how they can be fixed moving forward. Offensive Performance Leaves LeSean McCoy Searching for Answers In the wake of the team’s latest defeat it was clear that LeSean McCoy’s pride was hurt. Their Monday night loss to the Patriots, that was largely due to an offense that again could not string positive plays together, left him frustrated. The Bills feature back was troubled that they haven’t been able to support a defense that on the whole has kept the them in games. “It’s real frustrating,” said a subdued McCoy after the game. “We put a lot of work and effort into our craft and your job and the results and the outcomes are like the same. You see the defense out there just grinding. So it’s frustrating.”
  13. Who cares what anyone on TSW wanted. The issue is the professional judgment of the powers that be at OBD.
  14. The point is he's a franchise changing player.
