  1. Despite Facing Many Double-Team Blocks, Donald Still Dominating Defensive tackle Aaron Donald leads the league with 10.0 sacks so far in 2018. Donald is also seeing more double-team blocks than any other of the league’s sack leaders by a significant margin. That’s according to NFL Next Gen stats, which has Donald being double teamed on 70.0 percent of plays. Of the players tied for No. 2 with 8.0 sacks, Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt is seeing the most double teams at 46 percent.
  2. Not looking good thus far.
  3. From Andy Benoit: Bears at Bills Everyone piles on Nathan Peterman and Buffalo’s quarterback situation, but this team’s biggest problem is the O-line’s lack of athleticism. A plodding front five limits what coordinator Brian Daboll can do with the ground game that his offense—because of its youthful passing game weapons—must be built around. Even if an ankle injury again keeps Khalil Mack out, Chicago is not a D-line you want to combat with iffy athletes.
  4. From Andy Benoit: Rams at Saints Running backs in the passing game could decide this one. Alvin Kamara was the reason the Saints were even competitive when they visited the Rams in Week 12 last year. Will Sean Payton go back to featuring Kamara on the weak side of spread empty formations? (Taysom Hill’s curious rise seems to have come at the expense of New Orleans’s once-foundational spread-empty passing game.) Speaking of empty sets, that’s what the Rams employed at times last week against Green Bay when throwing to Todd Gurley. This doesn’t necessarily reflect a shift in philosophy, though. Those empty formations were condensed, not spread, and out of them the Rams still ran many of their usual pass plays for Gurley. Whichever team gets more big catches from its tailback will win this game. And keep in mind it was reported yesterday that Saints DE Marcus Davenport will be out for about a month with a toe injury.
  5. Yes he is. Far greater physical limitations with historically bad turnover ratio combined with horrid decision making and panic under pressure.
  6. VIDEO Rodgers vs. Brady, by the Numbers Despite 33 combined seasons between them, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have only faced each other as starters once. They'll get a second showdown this weekend. See how the two elites QBs stack up.
  7. Which duo will triumph on Sunday: Los Angeles rams head coach Sean McVay/quarterback Jared Goff or New Orleans Saints head coach (3:18) The "Good Morning Football" crew debates which duo will triumph on Sunday between Rams head coach Sean McVay and QB Jared Goff and Saints head coach Sean Payton and QB Drew Brees.
  8. They made the decisions they made at that point with few good to decent options remaining. That's squarely on Beane and McDermott.
  9. That's not at all what I said and he wasn't brought in to play as a starter.
  10. He's rusty as hell. If he were in earlier, the level of preparedness would be better in terms of knowing the offense and personnel.
  11. Do the owners, GMs, coaches, and players know about these scripted outcomes?
  12. Which Pill are they taking?
  13. You should stop watching if you believe in such conspiracy theories that make it like the WWE. The calls didn't go their way against the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
  14. It's downright putrid and it likely won't get much better until next season at the earliest.
  15. CBS Sports Predicts Bears vs. Bills For the second week in a row, the Chicago Bears are considered heavy favorites in their Sunday matchup. Chicago will hit the road to take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday afternoon. Chicago sits with a 4-3 record and atop the NFC North division. A win on Sunday could help set the Bears up ahead of three-straight divisional games to close out the month of November. Over at CBS Sports, their panel of NFL experts predicted this Sunday's game: Pete Prisco: Bears Jason La Canfora: Bills Will Brinson: Bears Jared Dubin: Bears Ryan Wilson: Bears John Breech: Bears Dave Richard: Bears Jamey Eisenberg: Bears
