  1. Todd Bowles is Running Out of Time to Help Sam Darnold – and Save His Job Their curt replies and exasperated scowls said it all, painting a disturbing picture of a stunted team that can’t get out of its way. One by one, New York Jets players shouldered the blame for yet another loss on Sunday, trying in vain to explain how they squandered another opportunity, this time a must-win matchup against their longtime divisional rivals, the Miami Dolphins. It was the type of devastating defeat that, in hindsight, can be the reason a coach gets fired. And Todd Bowles is running out of time.
  2. That was among the most chicken bleep and dumbest plays I've seen from an NFL QB in a while. Zero situational awareness and he ducks out of bounds with no time left to make it even worse. Just inexcusable. He should be cut tomorrow.
  3. You mean like when gutless Peterman wouldn't throw an FN Hail Mary down 28-0 on the last play of the 1st half? Stupid and gutless!
  4. The passing game was supposed to get better.
  5. Who can make a play?!? We cant.
  6. Brees, Saints hand Rams first loss of the season, 45-35 Michael Thomas caught a late 72-yard touchdown reception and then celebrated with a cellphone in a throwback to another famous New Orleans play, and the streaking Saints handed the Los Angeles Rams their first loss of the season with a 45-35 win. NEW ORLEANS -- Michael Thomas caught a late 72-yard touchdown reception and then celebrated with a cellphone in a throwback to another famous New Orleans play, and the streaking Saints handed the Los Angeles Rams their first loss of the season with a 45-35 win on Sunday. Drew Brees passed for 346 yards and four touchdowns in New Orleans' seventh straight win, and Thomas finished with a club-record 211 yards receiving. But what happened after their last connection of the day really stole the show in a wild shootout between two of the NFL's best offenses. Thomas' long TD came on a pivotal third-down play with about four minutes to go, when the Rams seemed to expect the Saints to run a play closer to the first-down marker. Thomas ran free behind Marcus Peters, caught Brees' long throw virtually in stride and ran straight to the goal post, where he got out an old-school flip phone -- reminiscent of Joe Horn's Sunday night TD celebration in 2003. Like Horn, Thomas was penalized, but the Rams never threatened after that.
  7. Keeping Peterman around after throwing up on himself so many times is pretty "offensive".
  8. This kind of statement along with the mantra of running the ball and being tough because of Buffalo weather.
  9. It's pretty creative. Patterson is a big guy who's fast and explosive. Good move with Michel on the shelf.
