Bills Life: The Pancho Billa Story 1. The Pancho Billa story Bills superfan Ezra Castro, also known as “Pancho Billa,” caught national attention last April when he was called on stage at the 2018 NFL Draft in Dallas to announce Buffalo’s third round pick. It wasn’t just his one-of-a-kind costume or fun-loving personality that captivated audiences, however. It was his story. One of perseverance during hardship, Castro’s story has tugged on the heartstrings of fans everywhere and inspired CBS Sports Network to produce a video about his life.

GAME PICKS Can Carolina Shut Down Conner? If the Steelers win Thursday night, it'll be because of James Conner and their run game, according to Elliot Harrison. See his prediction for tonight's matchup as well as his game picks for the rest of Week 10. THURSDAY, NOV. 8 Pittsburgh Steelers 34, Carolina Panthers 24 8:20 p.m. ET (FOX/NFL Network/Prime Video) | Heinz Field (Pittsburgh) I don't like the Panthers on a short week. Carolina darn near gave up a 35-7 lead last week at home to Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ben Roethlisberger threw effectively in Baltimore, despite the absence of massive numbers. Also worth noting: Pittsburgh posted 395 yards of offense against the top-ranked defense in the league. Unfortunately, Ron Rivera's defense has given up a lot of scores through the air (tied for the eighth-most passing touchdowns allowed), but the unit has managed to compensate for that by forcing its fair share of takeaways (15). If Carolina can pull a few interceptions out of the bag against Roethlisberger, the Panthers should be OK. That's because Carolina has been strong against the run all year -- that is to say, James Conner is not likely to go off this week. Then again, Conner is on pace for over 2,000 scrimmage yards and 20 touchdowns.

Stock Down Kelvin Benjamin BUF • WR • 13 Financial Benchmark: Marqise Lee ($8.5 million avg./$16.5 million in guarantees/additional $4 million in incentives) Probability: $$ Benjamin curiously blamed Panthers quarterback Cam Newton during the preseason for Benjamin not being as productive as Odell Beckham, Jr., Brandin Cooks and Mike Evans -- who were also taken in the first round of the 2014 draft -- during his three and half seasons in Carolina. The 28th overall pick in 2014 hasn't set the world on fire since being traded to the Billsin the middle of last season. Benjamin has caught 36 passes for 517 yards with two touchdowns in 15 games with Buffalo. Fortunately for Benjamin, there isn't going to be a particularly strong group of wide receivers available in the 2019 draft, so the explosion of salaries for pass catchers in free agency this offseason could carry over to next year.

After four straight losses, the Buffalo Bills may have a bit of hope on the horizon. Rookie quarterback Josh Allen began throwing in practice this weeks and the possibility of him starting against the New York Jets on Sunday still exists. What are the pros and cons of starting Allen this weekend, and can the Bills actually win with Allen in the lineup? Joe Buscaglia and Matthew Fairburn discuss it all on Thursday's episode.
