We always see innovation and borrowing in the NFL that become cyclical trends. Defenses will eventually adjust because they will have to and then we'll see something else emerge that emanates from HS and College. -

Didn't love him either, but he's roster spot worthy as a backup QB. If it were up to me, I would have started the season with AJM as #1 and Allen as #2. Peterman would have been cut after the Draft and Free Agency.

He had the best mirage that fooled some into thinking he could be an adequate NFL starter. His flaws were very evident and were quickly exposed once games were played that actually count in the standings. He's a complete waste of time.

His play translates to a wasted roster spot. 100% meaningless with respect to translating to regular season play and a waste of time regarding Allen's development.

No and no! His play on the field says exactly the opposite.

The best example of this is starting the season with Peterman as the QB and then keeping him on the roster after he bombed in Baltimore.

Sounds like they want Allen to start with Barkley as the 2nd choice.
