  1. Game that was: “I’m always going to bounce back” JACKSONVILLE – Jalen Ramsey put it simply. “I ain’t never going to sit down,” Ramsey said moments after the Jaguars’ 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. “I’m always going to bounce back.” Ramsey, the Jaguars’ All-Pro cornerback, did just that in memorable fashion Sunday – and his effort was almost enough for a dramatic Jaguars victory. Ramsey, who struggled and allowed at least one touchdown in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday, responded on Sunday with perhaps the best game of his three-year career. He registered a team-high eight tackles and three passes defensed, and also made two of the most spectacular interceptions of his career. This came on a day that began with a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Jaguars likely will consider trading Ramsey in the offseason. “It is what it is,” Ramsey said of the report, adding that he didn’t used the story as motivation. “I don’t control that. All I control is what I put out there on the field. When the offseason comes, we’ll have some conversations to have. It could be whatever … get a contract extension or something. “Something’s going to happen. We’re going to wait until that time comes.”
  2. Of course you are.
  3. They use his athleticism as part of the offense by design which is smart of Nagy to do. They also fortified the offense via UFA with Robinson, Gabriel, and Burton along with Anthony Miller and James Daniels via the draft.
  4. They want the Big slot receiver who can be a 3rd down and red zone threat. Greedy bastards!
  5. The whole darn league is scoring at record pace with the exception of a few teams who we won't name. Look at the players they have on offense who are getting even better such as Kamara and Thomas. They have a very well balanced and lethal attack with Payton and Brees directing along with all of those excellent players including one of the best OLs in the game.
  6. He's a more powerful version of Lamar Jackson that adds another layer of gadgetry for Payton to play with. But is he The reason for the Saints ascending to another level? No.
  7. Hilarious cheer for Parkey making a FG after his struggles last week hitting the uprights 4 times.
  8. Rivera on failed 2-pt try: 'I was going for the win' Riverboat Ron's latest on-field gamble came up snake eyes for the Carolina Panthers. Ron Rivera's decision to go for two points plunged the Panthers into a 20-19 loss to the Detroit Lionson Sunday after Carolina failed to convert on the attempt. Cam Newton had plenty of time in the pocket to make a throw, but he couldn't connect with a streaking Jarius Wright in the end zone, dooming the Panthers to their second straight loss. "I think you go for two on the road to win the game -- that's what I did end of the day," Rivera said "What's to say the coin toss is going to in our favor or [what's to say] we're going to stop them. "I was going for the win. That's the bottom line." What spurred Rivera's decision to go all-in for the win? Kicker Graham Gano's struggles played a role. The normally very reliable kicker missed a 34-yard field-goal attempt and an extra-point try earlier in the game. "He missed a couple of kicks, that's all part of it," Rivera said.
  9. Campbell: "This is as tough as it gets" (4:31) All Pro defensive end Calais Campbell tries to explain the Jaguars sixth consecutive loss despite a strong defensive effort on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field. Ramsey: "I walked off the field pretty mad" (4:58) All Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey meets the media following the club's 20-16 loss to the Steelers on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field. Chark: "We've got to get better" (2:14) Rookie wide receiver DJ Chark talks about the offense, the receivers and the outcome after the Jaguars 20-16 loss to the Steelers on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field. Jack: "I'll keep on playing" (2:51) Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack meets the media following their 20-16 loss to the Steelers at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday. Bouye: "We don't lack confidence" (2:51) Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack meets the media following their 20-16 loss to the Steelers at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday.
  10. Chiefs vs. Rams: Game Preview Matt McMullen, CHIEFS REPORTER Games like this simply don’t come along very often. With just two losses between them, the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams have been the class of the National Football League this season. Both teams feature prolific offenses led by two of the top young quarterbacks in the league, and with the best record in the NFL on the line, the Chiefs and Rams will face off under the lights at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Monday night. It’s a matchup that’s already worked its way into the history books before either team has played a down. Just eight players in the near century-long history of the NFL have ever tossed for at least 3,000 yards and posted a passer rating of 110.0 through the first 10 games of a season, and two of them will meet on Monday in the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and the Rams’ Jared Goff. The two signal callers lead the league in passing yards (Mahomes: 3,150, Goff: 3,134) and throws of at least 25 yards (Mahomes: 32, Goff: 28) while leading their respective teams to the most (Chiefs: 353) and second-most (Rams: 335) points in the NFL.
  11. She might do a better job of calling the offense than Marrone and Hackett.
  12. We'll see, but you could be looking at a very demoralized team after a brutal loss today that makes six in a row.
  13. See for yourself. Make sure you watch the ball placement and where he's looking before throwing it to Kirk.
  14. Mariota has a nerve injury while Allen's is a UCL.
