  2. Super 16: Sabres Crack Top 10 by Dan Rosen @drosennhl / NHL.com Senior Writer 8. Buffalo Sabres (13-6-2) Total points: 112 Last week: No. 12 Hit: The Sabres are on a six-game winning streak for the first time in nearly nine years (Dec. 27, 2009-Jan. 8, 2010). Each win has been by one goal, with four in overtime or a shootout. They are 7-0-2 in one-goal games this season. Miss: Marco Scandella sustained a lower-body injury blocking a shot in a 5-4 overtime win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. The defenseman's status for the game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday is unclear.
  3. 5. Buffalo Sabres The trade for Jeff Skinner (14 goals) looks like a stickup. Jack Eichel is a beast. Jason Pominville has rediscovered his game at the 1,000 mark. Rasmus Dahlin should be on the Calder ballot. And Carter Hutton is proving (so far) that, yes, he can be a No. 1 goaltender. The Sabres are relevant again, and it feels good. Grade: A+
  4. Bills' Talk: Chris Brown, Bills.com Insider/Lead Reporter JACKSONVILLE – Jaguars.com senior writer John Oehser each week during the 2018 regular season will speak with a writer or media member covering the Jaguars’ opponent. 5. Ranking Hall of Fame Semifinalists: Holt over Ward By Adam Rank, NFL.com Writer The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 25 modern-era semifinalists for the ultimate honor in football, entry into the Class of 2019 -- and what an incredible group it is. Now I would like to take a moment to give you my personal ranking of the semifinalists. Note that the list is NOT MEANT TO BE A PREDICTION OF THE CLASS OF 2019. Rather, this is how I would vote if given a chance, including the 15 I think should make the cut as finalists and the five I'd like to see in the Class of 2019. Many of you will likely be thankful I don't have a vote, and that's cool. Please understand that all of the men on the list are incredible players and coaches who were at the very top of their game. This is the elite of the elite, and sometimes you have to make tough choices. Go ahead and jump into my mentions and flame me. For more on contributor finalists Gil Brandt and Pat Bowlen, click here. Be sure to vote for the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2019 before they are revealed in January.
  6. Bills Today: Through Injury Allen Stayed Engaged
  7. Neither side had any interest in the other.
  8. $28M/year says the former, but he's not the kind of player that merits the hefty price tag like the upper echelon QBs around the league.
  9. Never heard of it.
