  1. Al's love of speed as a key element in the Raider offense goes way back to the 60's when Daryle Lamonica was his QB.
  2. Warren Wells and Cliff Branch certainly didn't.
  3. It was pretty predictable with the Bears backup QB playing and the Lions missing key players on offense.
  4. Labeling doesn't matter to me. They play fast and that helps their overall game because they can get deep which sets up the rest of what they do on the route tree.
  5. Because I see how Thielen and Diggs play and it matches their times.
  6. That means timed speed in shorts does not always translate to playing fast on the field in games.
  7. The Chargers have Tyrell Williams who is plenty fast and he plays like it on game days. Same thing with Diggs who also has very good timed speed and he also plays fast.
  8. BUFFALO - A look at the forward lines and defense pairings featured at Thursday's practice at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Drouin - Domi - Shaw Tatar - Danault - Gallagher Hudon - Kotkaniemi - Lehkonen Agostino - Chaput - Deslauriers Peca Benn - Petry Ouellet - Reilly Schlemko - Mete Alzner - Weber Price Niemi
  9. Happy Thanksgiving to All!
  10. Once again, it's about more than this season. It's the long term approach and being behind the trends that make teams successful in the long term in today's NFL. McDermott's own words along with Beane's should give anyone pause as they seem to be late to the party. We'll see.
  11. You love to throw out words like ridiculous and delusion as if it will defuse someone's counter to your weak arguments. You would focus on defense in today's game based on previous converastions which is the wrong approach. How would our season be different? Wrong question with the focus on 2019 and beyond. Wake up Rip it's 2018 not 1978.
  12. Game? It's a snapshot comparison. Does it threaten you?
  13. Fact! Calvin Ridley for one could have been taken there. You don't even know what's happening in the rookie class yet you make outlandish statements. Both Vander Esch and Leonard are performing better than Edmunds at LB. Respect the Process!
  14. No one said that every WR on a team has to be blazing fast, but the element of speed must be legitimately present to open up the attack.
  15. Offense is how you win in today's NFL is a sustained way. But I have to remember tghat you don't get that either.
  16. Panicking under pressure with poor decision making and spotty accuracy says no.
  17. Make believe? You ignore reality to suit your own beliefs. They made choices in the draft with the trade up Edmunds with LVE and Darius Leonard available. He may turn out to be a fine player, but they sacrificed help on offense to get him by spending extra picks. They also could have spent in UFA for WR, but chose not to. Frustration? They're the ones who talked openly about the element of speed in the last two weeks when it was it was obvious to most people that the WR position going back to the offseason was hideous and the same with respect to the OL.
  18. Delusion is making excuses when there were opportunities to have players on the team to impact the passing game this season from the onset. They'll have a chance to get things right, but their talent evaluation on the offensive side of the ball has been less than stellar. Everything is fine of course. Respect the Process!
  19. You're obssessed with defending all things Bills even when criticism is warranted as it is in this case.
