Frazier: "Sometimes, it is as simple as a mindset and an attitude change." The Buffalo Bills have a top-five defense, but there were times on Sunday against the Jaguars when it looked mediocre, primarily defending the run. Buffalo surrendered 173 rushing yards out of 203 total yards to the visiting team, including 13 carries for 83 yards for their star running back, Leonard Fournette. The 8.2 yards per carry versus defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier’s gameplan was a surprise. “How long can we stick to the plan before we get it turned around in what we thought was going to be effective?” stated Frazier. Luckily, as he stated in his Monday press conference, the offense “put them in a good position,” by getting an early lead, which gave the staff time to tweak some things late in the second quarter. -

HEADING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS? 2. BILLS SUCCESS FUELED BY TAKEAWAYS 3. BILLS RUN DEFENSE NEEDS TO STIFFEN 4. NEXT STEP FORWARD FOR JOSH ALLEN? 5. CAN THE DOLPHINS SLOW DOWN ALLEN ON THE RUN? 6. Easy decision. Jags' RB Fournette's Suspension Upheld on Appeal Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette lost his appeal for his one-game suspension Wednesday and will miss this weekend's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Fournette was suspended by the NFL for one game for violations of unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness following a fight Sunday against Buffalo defensive end Shaq Lawson.

11-27: Jason Botterill with Schopp & the Bulldog on WGR (17:19) #Sabres GM Jason Botterill talks with Schopp & the Bulldog now live Botterill - We just went through a difficult 6 games in 9 stretch. It doesn't get any easier. We've been able to stay the course and win tight games. Finding ways to come through in the clutch. #Sabres Botterill - As we play, some of these top teams like Winnipeg and Tampa, we didn't play a full sixty minutes, but when we did it was our game. Fast. #Sabres Botterill - Throughout this streak, our goaltending has been exceptional. Coming up with key saves in key times. #Sabres Botterill - If you start looking at the standings, it's not going to be successful. We lost a game in NY, was one of our best games. Eventually we'll play a solid game and not get the result. So be it. #Sabres Botterill - Standings will take care of itself. Botterill on Tage Thompson - He's more aggressive, getting his feet going. Creates a lot of turnovers with his long reach and turns them into scoring chances. He has an absolute rocket. #Sabres Botterill on Thompson - He's been consistent in shootouts in practice. #Sabres Botterill on Pilut being up - Scandella is not available tonight. Wanted to have an extra defenseman on the ice. He'll dress for warmup. #Sabres Botterill on players resting in other sports - The standings here is so tight. Maybe we might see it at the end of the year, but mid-season teams need their top players. #Sabres Botterill on Pilut - Lawrence's numbers have been spectacular this year. Just wanted to have him get a feel of it up here. Eventually he'll get games up here, for sure. #Sabres Botterill on Skinner - We'll talk later. It's real fun watching him play right now. It's been a great relationship for both sides so far. #Sabres Botterill on Skinner - I talk to his agents on a daily basis, because they have a lot of clients. On the contract, we've said we'll talk later in the year. #Sabres

Post-Game Report: 11/27 vs. San Jose Final Score 1st 2nd 3rd OT SO Final SOG Sharks (12-8-5) 0 0 2 0 – 2 38 Sabres (17-6-2) 0 1 1 1 – 3 31 Game Summary Event Summary Top Notes With their 10th win in a row, the Sabres have matched their franchise record for consecutive wins in a season. The record was originally set in January 1984 and tied in October 2006. In addition to the three official 10-game winning streaks, the Sabres have twice won at least 10 consecutive regular-season games during streaks that spanned two seasons: 15 games (April 8 to Oct. 26, 2006) and 11 games (April 1 to Oct. 26, 1975). The Sabres now have points in 10 straight games for the first time since they recorded points in 11 straight from Dec. 26 to Jan. 18, 2010 (8-0-3). Buffalo has won six straight home games for the first time since Nov. 28 to Dec. 15, 2014. The Sabres are now 10-0-2 in one-goal games so far this season. Buffalo last won more than half of its one-goal games in a season in 2011-12 (21-9-11). The team’s current .833 winning percentage in one-goal games would top the franchise record of .714 (10-4-0) set in the 1977-78 season. Jeff Skinner’s 19th goal of the season tied him for the league lead. He is on pace for 65 goals this season, which would be the second-highest goal total in Sabres history, trailing only Alexander Mogilny (76) in 1992-93. With his goal tonight, Rasmus Ristolainen now has five points (1+4) in his last five games. Tage Thompson, who registered an assist on Ristolainen’s goal, now has four points (3+1) in his last five games. Kyle Okposo recorded the secondary assist on Ristolainen’s goal and now has 15 points (5+10) in 14 career games against San Jose.
