  1. At least you can handle the truth.
  2. It's not much in the way of originality, but plenty of teams utter phrases with "the process" included. We'll see if the application request is granted.
  3. What would a thread be if you couldn't take unrelated shots at your favorite targets. You and FedEx always deliver. Andy Reid next?
  4. Correct: Bills file trademark for “Respect the Process”
  5. Yes I have. He was very compelling in The Shining.
  6. That's already been decided with the case investigated and closed by law enforcement with no charges filed.
  7. Under Armour has "parted ways" with former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt. The back was released by Kansas City on Friday night after graphic video surfaced earlier in the day that showed the star running back assaulting a 19-year-old woman in a Cleveland hotel, Holden Wilen of the Baltimore Business Journal reports. A spokeswoman for Baltimore-based Under Armour informed the Baltimore Business Journal Saturday morning that the brand "parted ways" with the Pro Bowler. The video of Hunt was released as Under Armour was already working to repair its own image with women after a recent Wall Street Journal report on the company's culture. The Nov. 5 WSJ expose describes a culture in which the company regularly reimbursed employees for strip club visits, female employees were reportedly invited to events based on attractiveness, and where women felt like they were not given a fair chance at promotions, among other allegations.

  13. They still do pregame and postgame on YouTube with audio analysis.
  14. No way the Bills will sign him, but criminal? The Cleveland Police Department didn't charge him and closed the case. He'll eventually play in the NFL again.
  15. SUNRISE, Fla. — When Rasmus Dahlin made his NHL debut in October, a full building in Buffalo and a good portion of the hockey world were watching. The Sabres had another Swedish defense prospect play for the first time Friday. There were maybe 9,500 people in the arena. Only a fraction of those even knew Lawrence Pilut was debuting. Despite the disparity in audiences, Buffalo is expecting big things from both of them. Pilut showed why. The defenseman held his own during a 3-2 overtime loss to Florida. He was active defensively and showed his much-lauded offensive instincts. He was feisty despite a modest 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. He made a few mistakes, but none cost the Sabres. “It was an OK debut, I would say,” Pilut said. His coach went a step further. “I really liked Lawrence stepping in in this situation,” Phil Housley said. “He handled himself really well.” It was obvious Pilut had played professionally before skating on the Panthers’ ice. While Dahlin is an 18-year-old wunderkind drafted first overall, Pilut turns 23 at the end of December and signed as a free agent after five seasons in the Swedish Hockey League. “The experience I’ve had over in Sweden helps me out a lot,” Pilut said. “I’m ready for it.” Here’s a shift-by-shift look at Pilut’s first NHL game, which won’t be his last.
  16. Chiefs' Releasing Hunt Will Test NFL's Other 31 Clubs We want so badly to believe that the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers showed us this week that the NFL has mostly learned its lesson about players who abuse women four years after Ray Rice gave everyone a brutal tutorial in how to mismanage a domestic violence crisis. In releasing Kareem Hunt Friday night, the Chiefs said Hunt had not been truthful about the violent incident depicted in the video that surfaced Friday afternoon. It's a question for another day how NFL investigators still haven't found ways to procure tapes that others can, despite what they said in a statement has been an investigation that began in February. At least when the NFL and the Chiefs say they finally saw the tape, the Chiefs moved quickly to get rid of Hunt. The issue now is the moral quandary into which Hunt's release just thrust the other 31 teams. Which, if any, will claim Hunt off waivers? Let's not be naïve. Teams will, at the very least, poke around the case. The Washington Redskins did it earlier this week, when the 49ers released Reuben Fosterafter he was arrested last Saturday following an alleged domestic violence incident at the team hotel the night before a game. It was not the first time Foster had been accused and arrested and the 49ers finally made the decision they should have made months before.
  17. Trent Murphy Q&A: On donating deer meat, Wolfgang Schmidt... By Matthew Fairburn - The Athletic Trent Murphy Q&A: On donating deer meat, Wolfgang Schmidt and being ready to ‘showcase why they brought me here’ ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Trent Murphy is sick of waiting. The Buffalo Bills’ defensive end signed a three-year, $22.5 million contract over the offseason despite missing the entire 2017 season with a torn ACL. Murphy was ready for a fresh start, eager to prove his nine-sack 2016 season wasn’t a fluke. But his debut season in Buffalo has been a frustrating one. He’s played in eight of the Bills’ 11 games and been on the field for just 40 percent of defensive snaps due to a series of nagging injuries. First, a groin injury held Murphy back during training camp. Then he injured his ankle early in the season before missing three games with a knee injury. He’s as eager as Bills fans are to put the injuries behind him and get back to producing. After all, Murphy is the guy with a famed work ethic going back to his days growing up in Arizona. He spent the offseason at Westside Barbell, a world famous powerlifting gym. He’s not one to sit around and miss time. Last week, Murphy played 54 percent of the Bills’ snaps, his highest total since Week 5. “He looked like he was gaining confidence as the game wore on, and this week will be another week for him to put another good week of practice out there and continue to gain some momentum with his health and with his confidence,” Sean McDermott said. I talked to Murphy on Friday at his stall in the Bills’ locker room. We discussed his season but also his many interests and hobbies off the field …
