How about a Moment of Silence for Ralph Wilson
Cynical replied to bills_fan_in_raleigh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

Exactly. 15-20 years ago, it was a big deal, especially for those fans that did not live in the WNY area. The national press was about the only way to get Bills news. Today, with the Internet, finding Bills related info its not that hard.

Forbes: America's Most Affordable City is Buffalo

Yep. Can't forget about the Sand Flies a/k/a "No See Um's", either. Those little bastards are so small they can fit through a screen. -

Check out the Bills' redesigned uniforms!
Cynical replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Check out his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mr-Design-Junkie/208307940215 He doesn't limit himself to just the NFL or football for that matter. Up top, he has the phrase: "Creativity...one helluva drug!!!" In his case, more like meth. -
Jameis Winston saying he's staying 2 more years

Charlie Ward 2.0? -
No, it will not. There are these things called a "salary cap" and the "collective bargaining agreement". The reality is, a 10 year vet that is earning vet minimum is still more expensive than a 7th round draft pick playing out his rookie contract.

I think you need to clarify your question. I am not sure what you want the truth on. Do external transmission coolers exist? Yes. Do they work? Yes. (Manufacturers will sometimes add an OEM version when a vehicle gets equipped with a factory towing package. Depends on the vehicle). Are there universal ones? Yes. I am a bit puzzled by his reason for recommending one though. He clearly stated the radiator caused the overheating, but why? Is it too small? Older, partially plugged?

To clarify, PTC and Tyrone are in Fayette County, not Fulton, and are situated along the Fayette - Coweta county line.

The Varsity blows. I would rather eat the chili cheese pups from Krystal. Brandi's World Famous Hot Dogs are much better, and consistently ranks near the top as Atlanta's best hot dog. For those transplants looking for a little taste of Buffalo, NY, Barkers Red Hots serves up charcoal grilled Sahlen's.

A List For Future SB Half Time Entertainment
Cynical replied to T master's topic in Off the Wall Archives
AC/DC? Just say no. I love AC/DC (favorite group in fact), but you go to an AC/DC concert to watch Angus play live. If the requirements for a halftime show are: International appeal Young listeners Prerecorded music Then LMFAO or the chubby Korean guy (Psy?) would have been better choices. Or let's go with people who know are all about playing prerecorded music "live": Mophead (Skrillex) or Deadmau5 IMHO, I would like to see Rodrigo Y Gabriela play. But it will never happen. Not flashy enough. -
Jameis Winston wearing Bills gear on Twitter
Cynical replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When it comes to the NCAA, do not assume anything. IF ... EJ did give JW that gear, it would be a violation of NCAA rules. Taken from the Boise State donor guide: So what is a potential extra benefit violation? Looks like a violation to me. A better question to ask: Will the NCAA follow up and prosecute such a minor violation? Edit: I am not advocating they do follow up. Just pointing out good old fashioned NCAA "logic". -
Must be a mirage. According to many on here, Tom Brady was past his prime, he didn't have Welker anymore, etc ...

Insane Jobs That Pay More Than You Believe
Cynical replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
That's a pretty poor comparison. Farming is a 7 days a week / 52 weeks a year gig. Nature does not take time off. Legislators, those on the state and local levels especially, only work 5 days a week, and in many instances, for only part of the year. Here in GA, the General Assembly session runs from January to approximately April. In all, they are only allowed to meet for 40 days. Due to their limited work sessions, their salary is only $17k/year. However, on a per day basis: $425 /day plus their per diem of $173 /day = approx. $600 /day. Now who makes more money? -
Bills to meet with Rogers Communications
Cynical replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's it. The Bills are going to double down and split the homes games 50/50. In order to get Canadian fans more involved and drive up attendance, all home games against division rivals will be played in Toronto. Toronto will also get to pick one other marquee match up. -
So true. They were losing play makers faster than they can develop them. Defensively, this was a down year, and I would rate it just above Saban's 2007 team. Prior to the season started, it was established if the Tide were going to do a 3 peat, it would have to do it with the offense doing the heavy lifting. That was a tall order given the O-line had 3 new faces on it. The defense was suspect (due to the attrition of the past couple of years) with the secondary being the weakest position. Depth was a major concern, and it showed why with the past couple of games. If McCarron is there in rounds 3-4, I would snap him up in heartbeat. Sit him on the bench for a year or two, let him learn and adjust to the pro game, and then see what you got.

Johnny Football vs. Duke (Possible draftees)
Cynical replied to BringBackFergy's topic in College Football
That justifies it? And you just admitted JF was taunting them. Fake signature anyone? It was not just "pointing to the scoreboard". You already admitted JF was taunting Rice ("mimicing his signs"). On the play in question, JF and a Rice player got into a verbal exchange after the play. JF turned and started to walk away (the smart thing to do). He should have kept walking. But he could not let it go. He turned back around and started up again. That's what caused the flag. He just had to have the last word. Once he turned back around, his actions were irrelevant. All that tells me is the other team can get into his head. And his coach said it was stupid. Who do you think carries more weight? As for ESPN, Brian Urlacher, an ESPN analyst, essentially called JF a "punk" after that game. -
Johnny Football vs. Duke (Possible draftees)
Cynical replied to BringBackFergy's topic in College Football
As Yolo pointed out: Yes he has. He was slapped with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and benched for his antics just this year. Johnny Football has no room to B word about how players behave on the field. -
Johnny Football vs. Duke (Possible draftees)
Cynical replied to BringBackFergy's topic in College Football
Name a QB that played with Calvin Johnson at GA Tech. Where are they now? No, McCrystal and others (like myself) have noticed that once Mike Evans is taken out of the equation, Johnny Football is not nearly as good as others portray him to be. QB's are supposed to elevate the play of their teammates, not the other way around. JM bitching out another teammate regarding behavior is laughable, and JM has no room to talk. -
Texans Hire Bill O'Brien as Their Next Head Coach
Cynical replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you sure? Maybe at the time he said it, it was 100% true. All we see is the end result. We have no idea what was happening at the time the statement was made and what happened afterwards. -
Oh God no. And the off season hasn't even started yet.

Should the Bills draft a LT and switch Glenn to LG?
Cynical replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Hell No. NO NO NO NO NO NO I never understand the thought process of creating a problem to fix a problem. The problem is LG. Don't create a LT problem to fix a LG problem. Fix the LG problem. I don't care if Mayock brought up the subject.
