  1. Goff called out Sammy for quitting on a play earlier in the year. That's from a player that actually KNOWS what the play was. Sammy admits he gets confused by defensive coverage. That's from the player himself. What have you got? Goff is being coached/told not to throw to Watkins. Your evidence: "I watched all the games." Pfft. So, you know all the routes Sammy is supposed to run. You know all the adjustments Sammy is supposed to make on those routes based on the coverage (I presume you have concluded they are all correct adjustments). Heck, you know the entire Rams O and how its implemented, and all the adjustments and tweaks from "watching the game". Why are you here? Why haven't you pitched your observational skills to some NFL team? The reality is you know nothing. You see what you want to see when watching the game, and you ignore anything else that contradicts that position.
  2. Think? No, we "know". We know because we watched all his comments. You haven't, therefore, you know nothing.
  3. No, not really. Alpha tries to dance around the "decoy" label by declaring that Sammy has limited opportunities, but Alpha's observation describes Sammy being used at a decoy. You, on the other hand, have declared that Goff is being coached/told NOT to throw Sammy. And, yes, there is a difference.
  4. Not surprised. Maybe Auburn will hire him after Gus runs back to Arky.
  5. Iron Bowl Hate Week! Auburn will be a huge test. To be honest, I am a little nervous about this game. The Auburn O matches up extremely well against the Bama D right now. IMHO, it will come down to whether or not the Bama D can limit the Auburn running game. Keep Johnson in check, and force Stidham to carry the O, Auburn will be toast. If Johnson finds his groove, it should be a tight game either way. If by chance Pettaway somehow suits up and play, it could get ugly for the good guys. Just a little something for Iron Bowl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1SzfjddbyQ
  6. Sammy needs it to be communicated to NOT give up on route? Just reinforcing that "elite' status, I see. I just find these kind of people fascinating. The amount of twisted logic they will use to justify their position is positively funny.
  7. Sammy quits on routes and can't read defenses. You conclude Goff is being coached to not throw to Sammy because of the coverage. You really can't see the forest because of the tress, can you?
  8. Sure it is. You keep believing that. http://theramswire.usatoday.com/2017/10/12/nfl-los-angeles-rams-sammy-watkins-jared-goff-frustrated-offense-targets/ Sammy Watkins. 4 year vet WR. Got called out for quitting on a route. Still struggling reading defensive coverage. = "Elite" WR We already know the Sammy cult is going to give him a pass this season, can't wait to see what the excuses are for year 5.
  9. I listened to this segment. McElroy was speculating, how it made more sense, etc ... No real inside info
  10. Meh. Scheduling teams is easier said than done. A lot of variables come into play, and nothing is guaranteed. Even when contractually agreed upon.
  11. Hopefully, never. A better case scenario would be to drop the whole playoff format and go back to the BCS. For everybody who wants to expand the playoffs to include more teams, nobody has yet to explain how adding even more crappier teams would make it better.
  12. Heard about this earlier. It's a damn shame. The guy just needed more time, like another 10 years. Brady Hoke takes over as interim HC. As for Gruden, the guy would be an idiot to take the Tenn job. Gruden hasn't coached football in almost 10 years, and has zero recruiting experience. Gruden's last college coaching job was in 1991 for Pitt. The highly competitive SEC will bury him. Gruden sounds like a great candidate for Tenn.
  13. No, just Kiffin being Kiffin. He's a d-bag.
  14. The irony when the evidence is staring at you right in the face and you still cannot see it. Those damn trees ... Just stop.
  15. Meh. The officials let 'em play. After every Bama game, I go on the opponents boards and Bama boards. Bama boards bitching about Danielson sucking up to the other team or players. Opponents board bitching about Danielson slobbering over Bama or their players. I like Danielson as a color guy. Does a nice break down of plays and tends to be balanced in his coverage. If the game becomes a blow out, of course his coverage will reflect that. He will at times become obsessive about a player or team, and that can be quite annoying. Nothing like watching a Bama v LSU game and listening to Danielson rave about Tebow. I actually miss Verne and his quirkiness. Hell, if possible, I want Minkah to stay out of the game until the Iron Bowl. I want him nice and healthy for that game. The loss of the LB's Hamilton and Wilson is far more troublesome. QB Stidham did not develop into the great savior Awbie fans were hoping for, but Auburn has developed a potent running attack with Pettaway and Johnson. If the Bama D can't keep that under control, Stidham is capable enough to not up to lose the game.
  16. Yes, we know. His other responsibility is "decoy".
  17. More astounding, Watkins did not quit on a play. First half stats for Watkins (from NFL.com): 1 Rec, 67 yds., 1 TD., 2 tgt. Impressive display of "elite" talent.

  19. Your hate is misguided, and focused in wrong direction, IMO. And a 1 loss team is going to make the playoffs, even if there are 4 undefeated teams. The NCAA has no authority over criminal matters, not matter how disgusting and disturbing the activity was. Yeah, the NCAA could have slapped PSU with the death penalty, but it would have opened itself to civil litigation.
  20. Dabo went into the Syracuse locker room to congratulate the Orangemen on their win. I wouldn't call that pompous, that's a classy move. Never happen. There is no way they put 2 SEC teams in the CFB playoffs.
  21. At this stage, no. If he was to enter the draft at the end of the year, I doubt he would even be drafted (a late round practice squad project would be the best case scenario). From what I read, he is driven and a perfectionist, and still has a couple of years to work on his game.
  22. One thing I have learned during the Saban era, never underestimate the Bama D. Some seasons are better than others, but even a "bad" Saban D is still damn good. Definitively loving me some Ronnie and MINKAH!! But speaking of freshman, how about Tua? Good God is that kid scary.
  23. It was a rat poison weekend, wasn't it? Clemson, Wash St, Auburn ...
