Not really shocking, but interesting the NCAA came back added more to the original penalties. The NCAA added in show cause penalties for former coaches. The one assistant coach has an 8 year show cause. That will kill a coaching career. Well, unless he's willing to coach at Auburn. They have no problem hiring those kind of coaches.

Yeah, I read the same article regarding Leach hiring the PI. He even started his own hashtag, IIRC. That endeavor will probably end up like his lawsuit - nowhere. Leach is his own worst enemy. His nuttiness will continue to limit his advancement opportunities. Despite his "brilliance", he's too stupid to realize it. Herm Edwards. Hasn't coached in almost 10 years. Never coached at the collegiate level. This will turn out fabulously.

Kiffin wasn't fired. He left after one season to take the HC at USC, where he failed at IIRC. Also, within that year, the NCAA came sniffing around for possible recruiting violations.

Not really. Auburn struggled badly for the first part of the season. They struggled out a win against Mercer, and blew 20-0 lead against LSU with really baffling play calling on offense. In the second half of the LSU game, Auburn ran the ball 17 straight times on first down. IIRC, Johnson was banged up in the beginning of the year. Pure speculation on my part, after the LSU game, Gus finally gave up the play calling to his OC.

Goff called out Sammy for quitting on a play earlier in the year. That's from a player that actually KNOWS what the play was. Sammy admits he gets confused by defensive coverage. That's from the player himself. What have you got? Goff is being coached/told not to throw to Watkins. Your evidence: "I watched all the games." Pfft. So, you know all the routes Sammy is supposed to run. You know all the adjustments Sammy is supposed to make on those routes based on the coverage (I presume you have concluded they are all correct adjustments). Heck, you know the entire Rams O and how its implemented, and all the adjustments and tweaks from "watching the game". Why are you here? Why haven't you pitched your observational skills to some NFL team? The reality is you know nothing. Iron Bowl Hate Week! Auburn will be a huge test. To be honest, I am a little nervous about this game. The Auburn O matches up extremely well against the Bama D right now. IMHO, it will come down to whether or not the Bama D can limit the Auburn running game. Keep Johnson in check, and force Stidham to carry the O, Auburn will be toast. If Johnson finds his groove, it should be a tight game either way. If by chance Pettaway somehow suits up and play, it could get ugly for the good guys.
