  1. And what activity do you think it means? And why does the certain activity matter?
  2. And like those other experts, are we going to hold Street & Smith accountable if the Bills don't finish at least 2nd in the ACFE?
  3. For those who may have not read it: https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/alabama-football/how-nick-saban-built-greatest-dynasty-of-all-time/ Great article about Nick Saban.
  4. Mea culpa for what? Prior to last year, how many times was the media right about the Bills being bad? Yet, just like now, there were Bills fans getting their panties in knot because some person in the media predicted the Bills were going to do poorly. How many of those fans came back with their mea culpas? ZERO.
  5. How about albums and CD's? AC/DC - Back In Black Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction I love/like every song on those albums. I also love me some Motorhead;
  6. 1. Go to youtube 2. Search for "J-Pop" 3. Pick one 4. Profit
  7. Mr. Irrevelant now feels he can compete for the backup QB spot, and based on that, you have him becoming a franchise QB by next year?? I am beyond thrilled we did not.
  8. Ah, yes. One of my favorites:
  9. And people wonder why recruits choose to go play for Bama ... https://247sports.com/college/alabama/Article/Alabama-football-lapping-the-field-at-turning-5-stars-into-first-round-picks-117872125 IIRC, OSU still holds the NCAA record with 14 players drafted. 12 was the highest by one school this year, and the highest in Bama history. If Tua continues to develop and plays up to his potential, complimented by a Saban D, the SEC will be a Crimson blood bath this year.
  10. Still a faulty comparison. The Toronto series was a failure. It was cancelled. In case you haven't noticed, the Bills no longer play any games there. There are ZERO NFL games being played there. I have no doubt if the series was successful, the Bills would have shifted to playing more home games there. In regards to London, the series has been successful for the NFL. For the Jaguars, the series has been so successful, the owner bought a stadium to "protect the Jaguars' position in London". Khan 's comments indicate nothing, other than he is staking a bigger claim in London. As I said before, he could move the team to London, play 7 home games there, and play 1 home game in Jacksonville. 1 home game a year is still a "stable and promising" future when compared to no games in Jacksonville.
  11. maybe it really was 'rosen'. Kind of like woke/awake.
  12. Faulty comparison. Bills did horrible in Toronto, and that series was not well received. That series was cancelled. Interesting statement and a more interesting comment. He's essentially admitting he has squeezed out as much revenue as he can out of the Jacksonville market, and that he needs another market (London) to support it. There is nothing in his statement that prevents him from eventually moving the team to London and playing 1 international series game in Jacksonville. His comments would still be true.
  13. An even better question, what do the Glazers, and how they run their business, have to do with Khan and how he runs his? The Buccaneers have not played a game in London in 6-7 years? Meanwhile, the Jaguars are scheduled to play a game in London for a consecutive 6th time in 2018.
  14. Quick. Somebody needs to post that link to https://scout.com/college/auburn/Board/Football-Forum-102332 Do it as a "concerned citizen" afraid for the future of college football. I want to see what happens. For science.
  15. Remember when you said this? "Ya lol he did was win everywhere he went ..." Doug Flutie went to San Diego. He didn't win. What he did in the CFL, and whether or not he was the best QB on the Bills since Kelly, are meaningless, if you are trying to make the case he was a "good" NFL QB.
  16. 1. I never said RJ was better than DF. I just find it laughable when people think DF was a "good" QB. 2. There are many "ridiculous" arguments in this thread. The worst? "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda". "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda" arguments rely on the belief if a play, or a series of plays, were changed to a desired outcome, everything else about the game would stay the same. That's a ridiculous assumption to make. But you wanted to play it, so I played. My "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda" is just as ridiculous as yours.
  17. "Flutie just wins where ever he goes". 5-11 record. 8 TDs, 15 picks down the stretch. WINNING! So, the Bills managed to salvage 3 points on that drive from Reeds mistake. Can you remind me again how many points the Bills were able to salvage after Flutie's 3 drive ending mistakes? Ah, the Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda game. If only Flutie coughed up the ball 2 times instead of three. Especially that last one. That was not only a difference maker, that was a game killer.
  18. Hope you did some stretching before you tried to make that reach.
  19. 1. WAY TOO EARLY to worry about recruiting rankings. 2. Besides, this is "unpossible". I read on here when Georgia took the #1 ranking this past year, that was a sign that Bama's slide down has begun. 3. Did I mention it was WAY TOO EARLY to worry about recruiting rankings?
  20. 2001 -San Diego. Started all 16 games. Team went 5-2 through the first 7 games, then promptly lost 9 straight to finish 5-11. That's some kind of winning there. During that 9 game losing stretch, DF threw 8 TDs and 15 picks, including 0 TD, 3 pick performance against the Raiders. When questioned about the 3 picks, DF blamed the field conditions for one (WR slipped trying to reach back for a poorly thrown ball), a "lazy" DT on a another (DT played contained and plugged the passing lane. DF hit the DT right in the chest), and actually took responsibility for the third. During the same 9 game losing stretch, DF did an interview where his poor play came up. He denied he was playing poorly, and could not believe people actually thought he was. Why? Because he was third in the public portion of the pro bowl voting .
  21. Never said RJ was better, but this concept that Fultie was somehow "good" is laughable.
  22. A meaningless stat by itself. But that was typical Flutie. For all the "good" things he did, he would do enough stupid s**t to negate it. He would scamper 15 yards on a 3rd down to keep a drive alive, but 3 plays later throw a pick into double coverage while there was wide open WR on the other side of the field.
  23. Flutie was the very definition of mediocrity. 360 yards? Yes! 1 TD and 3 Turnovers?
  24. 2 of them by Flutie, plus a pick. But it was Moulds and Reed's fault.
  25. As others have pointed out, Tua has played more than just 30 minutes of football, and he has been a play maker in every instance. For 2017, he threw a TD for every 7 pass attempts. In comparison, none of the top prospects in the upcoming NFL draft can match that. Mayfield, based on overall CFB career, was the closest at 10. Darnold, based on per season, was the closest at 8 in 2016. Fromm, a true Frosh last year, and a player that many people on this board think will be good, is at 12. Matt Wyatt, an analyst for Miss State, broke down all of Tua's pass plays for 2017. You can find those here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP_0UKjRtvOyBnqG0A4d6ig You watch those, and you can see why Bama fans are really excited about Tua. And it's not based on 1 half of football, or 1 good play in NCG. With that, I think the kid is going to be great, but I want to see at least 1 full season of him as the starter where defenses are game planning against him. Once that happens, we can come back talk about it.
