  1. There is a handful still left. To them, it's all about the continuity. If we just have some more patience, we will continue to suck until eventually we magically become good.
  2. I get that. We just disagree on the amount of time we should start seeing results or signs of progression. By the end of third year, we should start seeing patterns or signs of progress. But since you are not satisfied with three years, how long are you willing to wait to see progress?
  3. Am I missing something? You complain that Cowher's team choked in the playoffs, and that's a reason you do NOT want him? But then you would state you would like Marty "Chokenheimer", the HC that built a career of choking out in the playoffs?
  4. So Poeticlaw was right. You are willing to accept mediocrity over potential success because you value continuity more than looking for a winner. I will never understand people who willingly accept a second rate product or service with the reason of <xxxx>.
  5. Don't you forget the chocolate milk!! Because we do not drink Kool Aid over here.
  6. I think I can solve our problem: Found this nugget on an Auburn University football (For those who do not know, they are looking for a HC) Have I got the coach for them. Yale graduate, even keel, treats his players with respect, God fearing (that goes over big at Auburn), he's white (some of the Auburn alumni are convinced the BOT would never hire a black HC), and I have never heard him swear (another plus for down there). We could "trade" him to Auburn for a future player.
  7. IMHO, tailgating before and during the game will send the biggest message. Wilson will see the empty seats in the stadium from his luxury box, and so will the players and coaches. Empty seats = reduced concessions, and an attitude the fans have given up on the present team. Staying out in the parking lots send message part 2. The fans may have given up on the team, but they haven't given up on the franchise. The fans want a change. Once Ralph hears how the fans are sitting in the parking lot and NOT CHOOSING to come in (and he will hear about it, do not kid yourself) the message will be heard loud and clear.
  8. My guess would be the reporter that asked him the question was standing to his right.
  9. They sucked. And no, I would not draft the present senior QB, John Parker Wilson. Any more questions?
  10. If the Bills never existed, I would probably would have never followed the pro game. College football and some other sport would have caught my attention.
  11. If Fire Fox is giving you a problem, may I suggest another alternative? Opera Web Browser That's what I am using right now.
  12. Memory wise, I have no issue with FF3. I have had a copy open since about 10AM this morning. Not a hitch wrong. As for the "Awesome" bar, my biggest beef is the 'attitude' surrounding it. I understand some people will like it, and others will not. For those of us who do not, why do we have to go download an extension? Why can't we just change the configuration? Oh, wait, we can? But we cannot do it the options area, because there is no option for that. So after some searching, I find out you have to hack the config file. During my research, I came across an article (interview?) someone did with one of the developers. The developers attitude was something along the lines of "Use it, you'll love it, and you will thank us later". We get that "we knows what's best" crap from MS. That's why I hate using their junk.
  13. I have had no real problems with 3, and at the same time, it hasn't "wowed" me either. But then again, it is a web browser, so I am not sure what it needs to do to "wow" me. Only a few pet peeves: Looks similar to IE7. Who ever came up with the concept of disabling the "Awesome" bar had to be harder than it had to be needs to be shot. A simple check box in the options area would have sufficed. But nooooooo ...
  14. I thought the amount was $2.5M? Anywhoo, I am not surprised Auburn has not contacted him, at least not yet. (Do not if they will) The "leading candidates" being reported seem more like the "fans" leading candidates than they do of the University. When word leaked the University contacted Leach, Aubie fans were elated. They were talking like Leach was a sure thing. Right up to the point when Leach released a statement saying he had no interest in the job. Poor Moo College fans. They think the are one "upper elite" colleges in the country.
  15. No rumor. There was a Baltimore Sun interview with Lewis regarding his not being picked by the Bills. In that article Lewis is stated as saying: TD wanted Lewis to commit to the job. Lewis refused stating he wanted his family to visit the WNY first, and refused to give a time frame for that to happen. TD chose GW as the Bills HC. To truly understand the context, this was taking place in February. TD was already taking heat for waiting that long to select a HC, because all the good assistant coaches were gone.
  16. Don't forget, with any trade, we would have to honor his original contract. That price alone makes him not worth it.
  17. This reminds me of the Steve Spurrier days at Florida. Remember the QB's he created that were drafted in his "Fun 'N Gun". How did all those QB's work?
  18. Some interesting note in that article: Gill interviewed for the Syracuse job last week. Both Paul Johnson and Jimbo Fisher are the leading candidates. IMO, Paul Johnson is a reach. I do not think he will jump from the GT ship that quick.
  19. The XFL folded because it was bad. My wife, with no clue on who ran the XFL, watched about 15 minutes of a game with me, and made the comment "If i wanted to watch wrestling, I would watch wrestling, not this." That's when it really hit me. The XFL tried to take the focus off the game, and put it on the individuals (characters) just like modern professional wrestling. It was doomed from the start.
  20. Regarding our disagreeing quite a bit in the future, would you mind if I took a different approach? We wish the same thing, but like all fans, we disagree on the path and steps to get there. At present, we see things differently. Next year, we may see things exactly the same. When we disagree, yes, let's keep it from getting personal, and respect the others position. When we agree, let us enjoy the camaraderie, as fans, it brings.
  21. Congrats to the fans of the Florida Tebows ... er, Gators. Leave no doubt in the NC game.
  22. That's NOT an Atlanta Braves "A" logo, that's the "A" logo for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide!!! Here, compare the "A" to official Alabama athletic site: Roll Tide My apologies to Big Bad Boone and the rest of TSW.
  23. It doesn't matter where they live, it matters where you live.
  24. Interesting enough, I have been checking out some of the Auburn boards, and Gill is getting some llllloooovvvviiinnngg .... An injustice! Auburn would regret for many years. Question: How do you regret not having something when you never had it to begin with?
  25. Yeah, nothing like downloading and viewing underage girls, right? Where do you live again?
