  1. Where have you been reading this? Seems like the only place I keep reading it is on here, and usually by one of the few remaining Jauron supporters who are desperate to come up with any reason to keep DJ. I'll be honest and state when the Bills lose, I do not read every article linked on TBD (no sense in reliving the loss over and over and over ...). So it could very well be in an article I did not read.
  2. That would depend. Cannot tell what the package looks like underneath the clothing. The face is a minor issue.
  3. Some people would argue a degree in economics is a baloney degree. Kind of like law degree. The last thing this country needs is more lawyers and economists.
  4. The article is a joke. I had to read it twice just to figure out his angle. Yes, Bob may have a point, but the point is lost in his incoherent presentation. He throws out all these pieces of facts, but does little to connect those pieces together. In his attempt to blame Modrak and Guy, he mentions numerous "last times" (last FA impact player, last draft to produce multiple productive players, etc...), but then he fails to mention the obvious. All of those "last times" took place during the TD era, and all of them took place while Modrak and Guy were employed with the Bills. Is he trying to imply since TD has been let go, both Modrak and Guy now have full control over the personnel? Further, he talks about the organizational philosophy. As DC Tom pointed out, the philosophy of team (running team or passing team) is dictated by the coaching staff, and not by the scouting / personnel department. Then he throws Wade into mix. Wade never worked with Modrak, and Bob never mentions the connection.
  5. Google is your friend. You need the Octoshape adobe flash add in.
  6. Rrrriiiiiiiiiiight. First, the players are not stupid. If management decides to make a change because the team finished 6-10, and greatly under achieved in it's goals, the choices for change are limited. It's either some or all of the coaching staff goes bye-bye, or players start going bye-bye. Secondly, hire the right coach, and watch those players turn upside down into .
  7. I think you got me confused with somebody else.
  8. Can you supply anymore information? Start with the basics ... Do you have the required plugins installed properly? Firewall properly configured?
  9. There is a handful still left. To them, it's all about the continuity. If we just have some more patience, we will continue to suck until eventually we magically become good.
  10. I get that. We just disagree on the amount of time we should start seeing results or signs of progression. By the end of third year, we should start seeing patterns or signs of progress. But since you are not satisfied with three years, how long are you willing to wait to see progress?
  11. Am I missing something? You complain that Cowher's team choked in the playoffs, and that's a reason you do NOT want him? But then you would state you would like Marty "Chokenheimer", the HC that built a career of choking out in the playoffs?
  12. So Poeticlaw was right. You are willing to accept mediocrity over potential success because you value continuity more than looking for a winner. I will never understand people who willingly accept a second rate product or service with the reason of <xxxx>.
  13. Don't you forget the chocolate milk!! Because we do not drink Kool Aid over here.
  14. I think I can solve our problem: Found this nugget on an Auburn University football (For those who do not know, they are looking for a HC) Have I got the coach for them. Yale graduate, even keel, treats his players with respect, God fearing (that goes over big at Auburn), he's white (some of the Auburn alumni are convinced the BOT would never hire a black HC), and I have never heard him swear (another plus for down there). We could "trade" him to Auburn for a future player.
  15. IMHO, tailgating before and during the game will send the biggest message. Wilson will see the empty seats in the stadium from his luxury box, and so will the players and coaches. Empty seats = reduced concessions, and an attitude the fans have given up on the present team. Staying out in the parking lots send message part 2. The fans may have given up on the team, but they haven't given up on the franchise. The fans want a change. Once Ralph hears how the fans are sitting in the parking lot and NOT CHOOSING to come in (and he will hear about it, do not kid yourself) the message will be heard loud and clear.
  16. My guess would be the reporter that asked him the question was standing to his right.
  17. They sucked. And no, I would not draft the present senior QB, John Parker Wilson. Any more questions?
  18. If the Bills never existed, I would probably would have never followed the pro game. College football and some other sport would have caught my attention.
  19. If Fire Fox is giving you a problem, may I suggest another alternative? Opera Web Browser That's what I am using right now.
  20. Memory wise, I have no issue with FF3. I have had a copy open since about 10AM this morning. Not a hitch wrong. As for the "Awesome" bar, my biggest beef is the 'attitude' surrounding it. I understand some people will like it, and others will not. For those of us who do not, why do we have to go download an extension? Why can't we just change the configuration? Oh, wait, we can? But we cannot do it the options area, because there is no option for that. So after some searching, I find out you have to hack the config file. During my research, I came across an article (interview?) someone did with one of the developers. The developers attitude was something along the lines of "Use it, you'll love it, and you will thank us later". We get that "we knows what's best" crap from MS. That's why I hate using their junk.
  21. I have had no real problems with 3, and at the same time, it hasn't "wowed" me either. But then again, it is a web browser, so I am not sure what it needs to do to "wow" me. Only a few pet peeves: Looks similar to IE7. Who ever came up with the concept of disabling the "Awesome" bar had to be harder than it had to be needs to be shot. A simple check box in the options area would have sufficed. But nooooooo ...
  22. I thought the amount was $2.5M? Anywhoo, I am not surprised Auburn has not contacted him, at least not yet. (Do not if they will) The "leading candidates" being reported seem more like the "fans" leading candidates than they do of the University. When word leaked the University contacted Leach, Aubie fans were elated. They were talking like Leach was a sure thing. Right up to the point when Leach released a statement saying he had no interest in the job. Poor Moo College fans. They think the are one "upper elite" colleges in the country.
  23. No rumor. There was a Baltimore Sun interview with Lewis regarding his not being picked by the Bills. In that article Lewis is stated as saying: TD wanted Lewis to commit to the job. Lewis refused stating he wanted his family to visit the WNY first, and refused to give a time frame for that to happen. TD chose GW as the Bills HC. To truly understand the context, this was taking place in February. TD was already taking heat for waiting that long to select a HC, because all the good assistant coaches were gone.
  24. Don't forget, with any trade, we would have to honor his original contract. That price alone makes him not worth it.
