  1. Little bit of a delayed reaction but that Bosa sideline play is as bad luck as you get
  2. KC. Maybe Bills fans can invite Eli Apple over to watch the super bowl since he won't be playing.
  3. My first reaction when I heard that Ryans is reportedly going to pick the Texans over the Broncos was "WHY?" But it makes sense. High draft pick. Tons of draft capital. So-so division: Jaguars could be for real but Colts and Titans both have a RB and not much else. Plus he played there, which I totally forgot.
  4. This is a little concerning.... Tua seems like a great person... I hope he is OK long-term
  5. IMO a lot of those older guys who were great players would also put up bigger numbers today. With better WR, better offensive schemes, all the rules that tilt toward offense it's almost a certainty. Watching old games, if you had a 10 point lead with 8:00 to go in the 4th quarter the game was basically over.
  6. What strikes me about all these "25, 30, 40 years ago today" clips lately is how much later the Super Bowl is now. We're still 2.5 weeks out from the big game. I was watching the Franco Harris Football Life on NFL Network and the SB was around Christmas. It's crazy! No wonder you get to the playoffs and so many start players are either missing games or playing at 50% now.
  7. There's some sort of disconnect between Beane and the coaches. OR even within the coaching staff. How else do you explain all the praise for Hines, what a great weapon he is, yet he barely ever even sees the field on offense? WTF? If they truly thought he was such a great asset to the offense but had him sitting on the bench drinking Gatorade while the FB was on the field to do nothing then there's a big issue. Gilliam should NEVER be going out for a pass while Hines or Cook is on the sideline available to play. It's a waste of talent. Same as Cook sitting on the bench early in the season while Moss ran for 1 yard at a time. or Elam nailed to the bench while (insert your name here) played CB.
  8. how about the team hired who they want to hire FFS... So many are going nuts in the media about how Wilks earned/deserved this job and it's some grave injustice. BUT just to appease the media and lawyers, I think the NFL should decree that Leslie Frazier, the architect of this amazing defense, be named a HC somewhere by the end of today. It would be a start to healing the wounds... just wait until the Colts hire Jeff Saturday full time... LOL
  9. It's possible that we have Aaron Rodgers AND Tom Brady in the division next year, which would be pretty epic. I still think we can win but it's going to be a battle. Maybe that's a good thing.
  10. exactly. OC and/or HC needs to be the boss Belichick treated Brady like he was a 7th round rookie even after multiple SB because that's what you need to do to win. Focus. Intensity. More focus. and even more focus. And then some more focus. After that, focus. Brady hated it but he has a handful of SB rings so now he can go have his fun.
  11. There's a disconnect between Beane and the coaches, IMO. How else can you explain drafting Cook, THEN trading for Hines, who they just HAD TO HAVE. Then they talk about what a great weapon Hines is on offense, but he DOESN'T EVEN LINE UP ON OFFENSE? This guy is so amazing, we're so happy to have him, he can do such great things! Never even sees the field on offense. Seriously... What is going on?
  12. This team has relied on Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs to be the entire offense and invested all of its premium resources on the defense. Those picks have been mediocre to bad, and the defense has been a tremendous letdown 3 YEARS IN A ROW in the playoffs. This year, for the first time, the offense was as well because it's Allen, Diggs, and a bunch of spare parts.
  13. After what Dak did for America by blowing out Brady this year and ending the threat of yet another Brady SB I think he deserves some love and respect. Dak is a pretty good QB. They lost by 7 to the 49ers in SF, who blows the doors off a lot of teams. If he went to the Jets that is bad news for us.
  14. Tom Donahoe used to post on there under a pseudonym of course!
  15. Something is off. Either Dorsey is telling Allen to throw to the wide open guys underneath and he isn't, or he isn't seeing them, or he feels so much pressure to make plays that he throws bombs on 3rd and 2 and we punt instead of moving the chains. Some say "but that stats!" This year's offense was boom or bust. Some days Allen hit the long balls and ended up with close to 400 yards. Other days when they weren't there it was 150 yards. Dorsey/Allen together seem to run an offense that's 1, 3, 0, 0, 1, 0, 45, 30, 0, 1, 3, 65, 0, 1, 2, yards We need more consistency to beat the good teams in the playoffs. We all love Allen, but I worry that he is not listening to the coaches, because I cannot believe for a second that Dorsey or someone on the staff isn't pointing out the wide open guys underneath that he needs to throw to when they review film or even during games on the tablet. Maybe his buddy OC needs to get fired to send Josh a message. You haven't figured it all out, and if you want to win you need to listen to us. Maybe he needs a tough coach who will speak truth. You got your buddy fired because you would not listen. BTW you haven't won jack squat in this league. You haven't even been to a Super Bowl. Holmgren was a freaking taskmaster with Favre. Maybe Allen needs a coach like that who will get on him when he decides to tune out the coaches.
  16. the defense completely no-showed and let us down 3 playoffs in a row. 2020: Chiefs blew us out in AFCG 2021: 13 seconds plus 42 points to the Chiefs 2022: total domination by the Bengals and their 3 backup OL It's a pattern at this point and IMO some one has to be accountable. Either all the 1st and 2nd round picks were bad picks or the coaches are not getting anything out of talented players.
  17. I think he was starting to round into form by the playoffs. He'll be a lot better next season. I just worry about his goalie academy, as he probably shouldn't be out skating or playing in net in the offseason.
