  1. Lol Chargers are the most anti clutch team I've ever seen. WR wide open on 4th down with nobody within 15 yards and drops it
  2. Bosa just blew his Achilles it looks like... Awful year for injuries
  3. So many people say Tomlin is overrated yet he finds ways to coach his teams to winning records, even when the talent might not be great. Isn't that a coach's job? He's like the opposite of Staley, who handicaps the Chargers. Tomlin is squeezing every bit of production possible out of that roster year after year.
  4. The pressure these guys are under, which is really just part of being a top team, seems to be breaking some of them
  5. Brady said in his podcast on Sirius NFL radio that in those moments he would tell himself he already lost anyway, so it was all a second chance, house money. Basically a mental game he would play.
  6. I thought it was just me, but he seems quite flustered. Which is how he coaches when the moments are biggest. If you think about it, this is the first time he has really faced any serious and sustained criticism. It's not just local media, which is tame, but national media just tearing him apart. Even after 13 seconds he just shut down questions and everyone disappeared into the off-season. Then it was "we're looking ahead not into the past" and the team won a lot of games in 22 so it wasn't a topic he really ever had to deal with publicly. Who knows what local Dallas media thinks of Big Mike McCarthy unless you're in Dallas. But every national sports show tears the guy apart along with Dak after every stumble. These guys care a lot more about their careers and reputation around the league than what the local cheerleaders in the media think.
  7. Already deleted? Maybe he really is bent out of shape about something lately
  8. I really don't see that. I think either this team, digs deep and turns it on at the right time. Then Milano starts practicing. Jones starts practicing. Things start to come together for Von Miller. the team peaks just at the right time... OR dumpster fire
  9. could be another Hershel Walker trade Texans got so much in return
  10. I have been very critical of McDermott, but what if he (and Josh) just love the team and fans and wants to win so badly that their frustrations are getting the best of them? This team needs a Marty Biron type in the locker room right now
  11. RGIII apparently wants in!
  12. Bengals have some terrible luck when it comes to QBs injuring hand ligaments Same thing happened to Andy Dalton when they were like 10-3 or something like that. He ended up missing the entire season and their one playoff game. Dalton was never really the same
  13. Josh Dobbs has become such a story in Minnesota. I'm happy for the guy, and added bonus, he isn't helping an AFC team!
  14. Rodgers did mention Tre White being at the "Achilles factory" with him and Dobbins a week or two ago on Mcafee's show
  15. to me, this has the feeling of either: 1) being on the verge of a Hollywood type turnaround where the Bills go on to win the Super Bowl 2) being on the verge of a total meltdown and chaos I can't see a win one, lose one, win one, lose one type outcome.
  16. sad to see star players go out for the season, even if it helps the Bills This just makes the product worse league wide.
  17. Interesting you mention Brady. I was recently watching this game between the 7-0 Colts and 6-1 Patriots from SNF in Foxborough in 2006. It reminded me that Tom Brady was once just a great football player, but a young guy who wasn't the basically perfect robot that he became once he hit 38 or 39 years old and never threw picks, never threw incomplete passes, and basically never lost. At least it seemed that way. He threw 4 INT at home this night, which wasn't usual for him, but he was a young, dynamic player who wasn't always perfect back then. That's your Josh Allens, Joe Burrows, Patrick Mahomes types now (not that they will become Brady). But Brady wasn't "Brady" then either. He was a top QB in the league, had won some Super Bowls, but wasn't anywhere near what he would become. He won more Super Bowls after age 37 than before. That's crazy.
  18. When it comes to Josh, maybe it's actually simple. A couple of years ago everything was new and fun, and he also had great relationships with a number of people who he no longer has. 1. He was with a woman he had been friends with since they were kids 2. He and Stefon were best buddies 3. Daboll was here as his grumpy but loveable uncle who knew how to push the right buttons at the right times and it all seemed to work 4. Everything was new. Stardom, money, accolades. Josh Allen was appointment TV. You never knew what he would do next, but he was going to put on a show. Some of this might just be changes in his life. He is no longer in that relationship. Daboll is gone. Stefon seems to always be pissed off at him. His game isn't quite where it was. The team is losing and the pressure is different. It's not new anymore, now there are real expectations. Not to be too corny, but we can all probably remember a time in life when everything was "magical." There's tons of movies and literature about that feeling, and what happens when we lose that feeling and things become mundane. Could be why he doesn't have the same look in his eyes, and I'm glad McDermott said it too, because everyone can see it.
  19. Bengals window might actually be closing. Gotta pay people now
  20. Beckham looks hurt. This season has been brutal with injuries and flags
  21. Loud mouths and dirty hits
  22. I like Lamar and would 100% root for him in the Super Bowl (because obviously the Bills couldn't be the opponent). But he'll never hold up. Heck Cam Newton, who looked like he was chiseled out of stone, was done by his late 20's
  23. Lamar is amazing but he's always going to be a shell of himself come playoff time due to nagging injuries
  24. Bengals are going to win Just my gut feeling, although it's almost always wrong... Lol
  25. Cool! When Frazier returns to the team this off-season we'll know this was all legit.
