Aaron Rodgers (jokingly?) mentioned on MCAfee that if you look at the color schemes of the last 3 Super Bowls the Super Bowl logo colors match the colors of the teams that play in the game. This year's are purple and red (Ravens/49ers?). Of course, it's not exact, and you have to stretch a bit but hey! I know he was being sarcastic about people who say the NFL is scripted and said SB 59 better be Jet green and something else.

Refs yet again blow a cool play in a big moment. It's why fans are becoming conditioned to waiting to celebrate turnovers, TDs, and really anything huge in a game until they ensure there's no flag. When "there are no flags!" Is part of every big kick return call you have a problem. Ticky tack BS and outright mistakes by the refs should not be negating scoring plays.

We were watching the All Madden documentary and they talked about how NBC tried basically every year to get Madden to do a one off broadcast and he never wanted to do it because he figured he went out on top with the Cardinals Steelers Super Bowl. I get both sides of that. Madden was a guy who left a little early. Michaels is probably way past his prime. But if he truly loves it then we're the beneficiaries. He's still very good. As a fan, I appreciate his work and I'm ok with him not being the same as he was 10 years ago. I would have freaking loved a one off Madden Michaels broadcast even if Madden wasn't the same Madden we remembered.
