  1. I wonder if McDaniels gets the Mike Mularkey WTF 3rd HC job?
  2. Dorsey just tore his knee Edit: hopefully he's ok but that looked nasty
  3. Twitter doesn't even exist anymore X does. Therefore: who knows...
  4. exactly! Why not Seattle? Until Detroit (who Seattle has beaten twice in a row) proves the Lions are for real, it's Eagles, then everyone else in the NFC. All it takes is a bad snap or a timely fumble in some winter weather in January in a close playoff game and suddenly the Eagles lose 17-14 or something and it's wide open.
  5. Bengals are a tough matchup for us. the NFL is all about how teams match up. That's why Team A can blow out Team B one week then Team B wins the next week and Team A scores 10 points. For whatever reason, the Bengals players and schemes are tough for us to deal with. We match up well with the Dolphins, but the Bengals stifle us and seem to move the ball at will. Same with the Chiefs and Bengals. YET the Browns basically always beat the Bengals, and usually it's not close. Hopefully this Sunday we find the answer.
  6. I predict very few trades before the deadline but I hope I'm wrong. Bears should be sellers. Imagine that would be the #1 landing spot for the next highly sought after HC this winter. Tons of picks and cap $$, probably 2 picks in the top 5. Easier division overall. Classic franchise that has been down for a while but if YOU turn it around...
  7. If you make that 2nd round pick next spring you almost certainly don't have a player of that quality on your roster in 2024. This way you get him for 2023 and all the dead cap stays behind, so you can trade or cut him without penalty at all.
  8. Seattle has surprised me. They're good and just got better.
  9. Sending a low 2nd for a proven player on the DL doesn't seem so crazy. It's putting a quality DL on the credit card. The 2025 5th is a total "whatever" pick at this point. They have 2 years to trade a backup guard and get that back. That guy's football life just became a lot more fun given Seattle's record.
  10. WGR just wants people talking. Part of me thinks these guys are just playing characters on the radio. Schopp is the super critical guy, although he's softened a bit with age. Sal is the guy who would find a bright side if he was on the sinking Titanic. Bulldog is playing the dude at the bar blabbering over an order of wings. Jeremey and his co-hosts just try to yell over each other as the younger guys who get air time now that Howard retired eagerly try to get something on tape for their next gig. Howard Simon and Paul Hamilton were/are the only ones who seemed genuinely like themselves. It's like the program director gave the rest radio gimmicks.
  11. Not sure who thought this was a big time matchup to begin with. Bears are terrible, have basically zero star power, and are painful to watch
  12. This matchup is bad enough without the refs making sure the Bears get zero momentum Gotta make sure the LA Chargers are in the playoff hunt at least
  13. Refs just took 3+ points off the board for the Bears then threw flags against them nearly every play
  14. Wow what a terrible kick by Gano! Lots of terrible football being played today
  15. Tomorrow is the perfect day to watch red zone and relax! Cold and rainy/windy here in WNY all day. No bye weeks. Lots of games. Bills have the W in the bank. Let's hope for a bunch of crazy games and no refs stepping in and ruining the game.
  16. I thought he looked a lot more explosive last night off the edge when he was in. Sure, he's not 100% yet but hopefully he'll get as close as possible by January. I actually like the idea of ramping him up slowly and managing his snaps right now.
  17. Wow that was right there for Godwin... Hey a win is a win but this went from feeling like we were back on track to not so good
