  1. It's more the Packers in general. They are the aww shucks version of the Cowboys. Everything they do it's "Love is MVP!" But unlike Dallas you're supposed to love them because they play in the middle of nowhere and Lombardi coached there and it's cold and frozen. Lefleur is a mediocrity who wasted Rodgers career. People get on McDermott for not winning it all with Allen. Lefleur's teams laid an egg every year in the playoffs. They had 2 HOF QBs back to back and mismanaged both at the end instead of trying to win. They had HOF QB play for almost 40 years and won 2 rings. That's pathetic. Plus Lefleur is an arrogant punk. That's about it
  2. 2nd half Love where he just chucks deep balls that are always caught
  3. Lions unbeatable? They're going to lose tonight IMO Bundle Save should have been a super bowl commercial I lol every time
  4. Second effort got it. Stick to dodgeball Lefleur
  5. I wonder if Glenn will be a HC next season
  6. Love only plays after halftime but then he's unstoppable
  7. I hate Green Bay I know, it's not acceptable but I cannot stand Lefleurs face.
  8. Looking at the playoff machine for the NFC as of today (in no particular order): Lions Eagles Packers Vikings Seahawks Falcons Commanders Lions and Eagles are both good, although I think the Lions are much better overall than the Eagles. But this looks a lot like those years where Brady padded his ring count against the Panthers or McNabb Eagles teams. It could be Bills/Falcons or Bills/Vikings or Bills/Seahawks. Something crazy often happens in the playoffs. If it's any of the above matchups I would predict a 10+ point win for the Bills
  9. I always wondered what Hyde would look like in the red, white and blue! Awesome move!
  10. A guy like him would have his pick of OC jobs, likely on a top team that just lost its OC to a HC gig. I know it doesn't fit the type A uber competitive world of the NFL, but there's something to be said for being great at your side of the ball, being known by your colleagues for being great at it, being on a good, a winning team with top talent, making tons of money, getting to focus on your specialty to help that team win titles, and letting someone else run the big picture of the program and deal with all that stress. Come in to work with a top 5 QB and good offensive talent and your job is just to make the offense work and score points. HC can handle all the other tasks that are often thankless. It's not a bad world to be in. You'll get plenty of credit, and the job would be a lot more fun than getting hired as the Saints HC or Jags HC, for example, and getting fired in 2-3 years. It must really suck to be on a team with 4 wins right now, no chance of the playoffs, but having to put yourself through the prep and grind to play another 5 games.
  11. Isn't he the guy who wore the "I wish it was colder!" t shirt? The universe loves irony
  12. I think McDermott is definitely good enough to win a Super Bowl. I would absolutely say he's better than Doug Pederson or Mike McCarthy, who both won in the past. I think he's Tomlin with a top QB. Before you laugh, Tomlin with a top QB went to 2 Super Bowls and won 1.
  13. I would tell my QB never slide in a playoff game. Would a dirty player, repeat offender, like this do the math and say "15 yard penalty, but no _______ for the rest of the game, in a tournament where it's loser go home" ? Especially when your coach will apparently back you up... "It was snowy and slippery out there... I couldn't stop!"
  14. they should think a little outside the box... A team in Maine A team in Alaska A team in Hawaii The catch? Same division. Seriously though, this league should explore "secondary cities" where instead of being 1 of like 10 pro teams they would be a major story in town. State College PA would be a cool idea. Football crazy town, no pro teams. Iconic venue.
  15. Apoplectic! Honestly I worry about this type of hit every time Josh slides... The frustration of the moment, adrenaline, embarrassment at this guy picking up 3rd downs when you think you have him, making crazy plays... I could see it being hard to pull up and not wallop the QB when he's been clowning you all game. As the QB you're totally unprotected (physically I mean) when you slide like that.
  16. A totally dirty hit, and I'm also surprised it doesn't happen more often... A QB sliding is a sitting duck for that type of hit. Extremely dangerous, and we've seen it plenty of times before too. You know there are guys who think it's worth trading 15 yards for the other team's backup finishing the game. We all saw Bounty Gate. Not many, maybe almost none. But I bet it isn't zero. The bigger the game the more "reward" for this type of behavior. What if this was a playoff game?
  17. If they win they might take the Bengals place on the "in the hunt" column
  18. Only minus is every big run is a hold
  19. Didn't think this would be fun but what a game! This is why NFL is king
  20. It seems like every QB deep draft has a few good ones and a dud or two I think Maye is the dud of this group
  21. WOW what a throw and catch!
  22. McDermott was doing snow angels with Allen post game LOL
  23. MVP! Putting on a show in the driving snow!
