  1. Texans are a fun team to watch Refs calling a mid play unsportsmanlike? Wow 49ers blew that awesome play for their defender
  2. No upside for Belichick to retire because NE has his rights. If he wants to continue coaching a firing is best for him so he's free to go wherever he wants and the new team doesn't have to give up picks
  3. That's not the one boys... Gotta throw it deeper to temp the refs
  4. Dumb route there... NE can still drive down and win, and the refs will have at least one DPI temptation
  5. If I was a WR I would lay there a few seconds after every hit. Worth a shot
  6. Gutless punt if that happens I thought the scrawny kid head coaches were all about aggressive calls and analytics?! Edit: he made the right call kicking the FG!
  7. Owner of a lonely heart! Nice music choice at least
  8. There's almost no point in making a big hit in today's game
  9. The usage of players is a major issue here too. For whatever reason, McDermott has certain guys who are nailed to the bench and are never going to get a real chance to do something. Elam is the most recent example, along with guys like Harty and Sherfield, who Beane signed as weapons and just aren't used. Last year it was Hines who they traded for and refused to do anything with. Cook was barely part of the offense last year as well.
  10. I'm actually hoping Rodgers comes back and does well this season just for the story it would be. I like the guy since he turned heel, as long as it doesn't cost us. If we can't beat out the Jets with or without Rodgers then that's on us.
  11. Hey, it's just a theory and worth what you paid for it! I think my OP got more different types of reactions than I've ever seen. That wasn't my goal, though. I think my theory accounts for a lot of what we've seen over the past couple of years. It is, as you say, simply conjecture though.
  12. Oh, I'm not saying it's smart or that I agree with it. But IMO it's 100% because Rodgers backs Zach and is giving the strong impression that he'll be back soon. Those in charge (maybe the owner or GM) are making sure this happens unless it becomes untenable. Rodgers has gone out of his way to defend Zach on his weekly MacAfee appearances. The team is doing everything it can to please Aaron. pretty much how it is I think! Wilson has idolized Rodgers since he was a kid.
  13. Watch this clip about how out of control that locker room meeting became right before he got fired and then tell me you want that fool here
  14. he seems to be a miserable, unlikeable person. No thank you.
