    I had forgotten how infuriating McDermott's blunders are. Sure, he is good enough to win a super bowl of we can get there. But there's the rub. You could replace the AFC champions with the Browns and it would still be a hell of a super bowl

    Another Allen otherworldly performance wasted by idiotic coaching. This has become a theme and a curse. Allen is so good he'll keep McDermott employed as HC his entire career. He has to be good enough to overcome his own coach

    McDermott cost his team any chance of winning the second that timeout was called Allen visibly reacted. The players knew. You hold those 3 timeouts and give your players the chance to get a 3 and out and then win with a FG at the end

    You could see Allen's reaction. As soon as McDermott called that timeout he cost his team any chance of completing the comeback.
