  1. Packers and Browns. Browns because that organization and QB is just disgusting. I hope they lose every game, regardless of opponent. Packers because it's annoying how we've all just decided that Jordan Love is going to be the MVP now. Yet every game I see him play in is similar: he does very little for 1/2 to 3/4 of the game, then makes a bunch of throws, then throws the back breaking INT to lose. Love is the next Fitzpatrick. Great guy, easy to root for (if you're a fan of the Pack)... But somehow he is a top 5 QB, let alone a favorite MVP choice? Get out of here with that! Even before he got hurt in week 1, he was playing his typical game, where he is so-so for most of the game then hits a WR on a deep ball so his stats look more impressive. Plus Lefleur is obnoxious as hell.
  2. Brady haunted me as a football fan for 20+ years. It felt like it would never end. Definitely the player I rooted against the most and it isn't close. That said, the man was a psychotic, Type A ultra competitor whose entire life was football, preparing for football, eating for football, and getting ready for football, so any little thing that wasn't right he couldn't handle. On some level, it probably drive him nuts that not everyone was like him. Any time, energy or thought spent on something non football related was a waste. For the vast majority of guys, that would probably be exhausting. But he's Brady, so you can't say much.
  3. Yeah he's been tuned up pretty good a few times
  4. That was a super late hit
  5. Rodgers showing some good mobility
  6. That's really weird
  7. We don't need help That's a great feeling
  8. Floyd sacked him very early in the SF game
  9. Jets are only going to get better on offense. Rodgers is still knocking the rust off. Patriots served a nice purpose week 1 for us
  10. Zero consistency with the sky judges weighing in
  11. I personally would have chosen "all knowing " instead
  12. 8 weeks is a long time but when I hear fractured fibula it seems short The human body is truly amazing.
  13. Young guys who want to make it in the NFL: become a great kicker because there aren't very many. Potential solid 15- 20 year career with low chance of traumatic injury.
  14. I thought it was just me. Every game I watch it seems like the QBs barely crack 200 yards
  15. Cowboys are in a world of trouble after that non-playoff meltdown at home last week. If it was a Wild Card game we all would get it. But this is the regular season champs we're talking about. In these spots I expect Dak and co. to come through and beat the Ravens pretty handily.
  16. This was a much better game than I expected
  17. Happy to see that drop just for the excitement of a final drive for Falcons
  18. True, but even just looking at Kyler Murray, who has similar measurables, there is a major difference in their builds. Young looks like someone's kid playing all time QB at a family BBQ or something. Jalen Hurts deadlifts pickup trucks for fun.
  19. Saints are the biggest surprise to me. They aren't just 2-0, they demolished both teams they have faced. Winning big in Dallas without it even being a playoff game? That is huge!
  20. agreed. Stroud has the physical tools. Young does not.
  21. Young looks like a kid playing with grownups. It sounds mean to say, but good lord the kid is going to get broken in half out there. His neck and arms make him look like he's 14. Couple that with a below average arm strength and it's hopeless. By all accounts he seems like a great guy, smart, hard worker, etc. But he is just plain too small to be an NFL QB. For reference, Tua is a few inches taller and outweighs Young by 20 pounds.
  22. they had the chance to set an all time NFL record and wimped out because they didn't want to hurt Denver's feelings. Football might be the only sport where continuing to play the game is considered an insult. I can't think of another. Neither can the football gods, whose displeasure was felt in many ways last season, one of which was forcing the Dolphins to play a game in Antarctic conditions in KC
  23. For whatever reason the Jaguars always seem to beat us. It's a tough matchup. We're going to need points against a desperate team.
  24. In my ideal world he becomes irrelevant like Hopkins did. Remember him? I wish him good health, a career as a team's #2 or #3, and lots of open mics to share his frustrations.
  25. Bengals are a tough matchup for both KC and Buffalo for whatever reason, and prove the old saying that the NFL is all about matchups. Burrow is 1-5 against the Browns in his career, yet people were calling KC's stadium Burrowhead because of how the Bengals always seemed to win against KC. This is why playoff seedings and matchups matter. Think of NE's Super Bowl runs where all they had to do was win 2 homes games vs the Titans and Jaguars and they're back in the SB. If the Bills secure the #1 seed and things fall a certain way it could be wins at home against the Jets and Texans (or something similar). Or it could be Wildcard Week vs Cin, then the Ravens, then KC.
