Antonio Brown Trade Value
TheFunPolice replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would rather draft a great prospect or two and sign a decent free agent I have a sinking feeling he ends up in NE. If I'm the Steelers the only way he leaves is via trade and he only goes to an NFC team -
true, but what if you sign Flacco? all of a sudden Denver is a decent team again. No solving the Rogers issue. The guy is constantly getting hurt and Green Bay is not a very talented roster. And since you have Rogers you are expected to win, which hasn't happened there.

I really want to see Rex Ryan return to the sidelines this season... Entertainment value!

Bills fire ST Coach Danny Crossman
TheFunPolice replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want to read Crossman's "it isn't fair!" article in the Buffalo News... LOL As for McDermott, he knows defense and is learning the ropes as first time head coach. I give him a B- so far overall. He had Beane together have found quite a few gems in the draft and free agency. At first, it seemed like they were finding tons of defensive players but couldn't hit on offense, but if this season they found the answer at QB, a starting G late in the draft, and a solid #2 WR as an UDFA that bodes well for when they really focus resources on offense this year. -
My ranking of the current HC openings... Cleveland Denver NJ Jets Green Bay Miami Arizona Tampa Bay Cincinnati As crazy as it sounds, the Browns job is the best one out there, aside from ownership. Baker Mayfield and a defense loaded with talent from picking top 1-2 every year. Plus, if you win there you are a God. That matters to coaches. Cleveland is going in the right direction and is set up to do well as the Steelers fall apart and the Bengals are hopeless. I put Green Bay #4 because you get an old, overrated egomaniac QB who always comes up short and is constantly injured. The "GOAT bowl" between GB and NE this year was the dumbest thing I had ever seen. Rogers is constantly described as the "best QB in the league" yet he doesn't win, almost never goes anywhere in the playoffs, and he seemingly is always injured. Good luck to whoever goes there. That team is also mediocre at best pretty much everywhere in terms of talent and will not spend $$ in free agency. I put the Bengals last because that team is just hopeless feeling. A team full of 8-8 type guys like Dalton who are declining. The one plus is that you'll get a decade. The big minus is being there for a decade. The Bengals are just a depressing team.

Bills fire OL Coach Juan Castillo
TheFunPolice replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
man... after reading the article I say hire the man back! -
The minute you start talking politics 50% or so of the people watching feel attacked, ostracized, or unwelcome in some way Plenty of time for the truly important work of life.. sports are an escape where we can all be on one team, cheering on the Bills and hating New England! It's beautiful!
-
Politics were less a part of the game this year. Plus lots of exciting young QBs Sports are a great escape from the news cycle and constant barrage of BREAKING NEWS! Stories.... The more people try to use sports to advance some political agenda the less popular they will be

Juan Castillo historical coaching results

Could he be ST coach? -
Sources tell me that Crossman had to sign off on the Pegulas buying the team... He gets to run his special teams empire without interference. Marrone became miserable in an attempt to make Crossman quit but it backfired and Marrone quit instead... That's the general idea of the texts I'm getting... Still need to confirm though!
