  1. Brady almost tore his knee trying to catch that ball then took a big shot at the end... Almost like BB is punishing him lol
  2. I think Brady is banged up... 1 TD in 3 weeks and today he looked old slow and hurt He took a big shot and almost blew out his knee on that dumb pass play they seem determined to run
  3. All that said, if they stick with Barkley I won't freak out but it'll just be a waste of reps for Allen IMO
  4. Nobody is saying cut the guy... But I'm not getting too worked up over a meh day for the good QBs in this league. Great compared to the awful play we've seen... Sure. Barkley has a body of work in the league and it isn't great. Eventually guys catch the picks. Why waste valuable game time?
  5. Keep Barkley as backup and Gramps as tutor and 3rd stringer
  6. I still bet they lose to a team like NE by some weird Chargers score like 19-13
  7. Barkley had a nice game But I start Allen. Let's not waste time. Barkley is not any sort of answer. Barkley threw for 230 ish and 2 TD which is nice but hardly something to change course over
  8. Still not sold.. hopefully NE has to play them wild card weekend though
  9. I vote Saints... Something about the Rams seems off to me as crazy as it sounds given their record. Chiefs are great on offense but that D is not good Steelers should be top 4...
  10. ironically, Rex was able to get a decent offense put together and found "his QB" in Tyrod, but it was the defense, which had been good, that did him in. When Rex actually tried the defense was good, like the MNF game in NE when Brady was on his back kicking his little footsies in rage most of the game. But that takes a LOT of time with the players because Rex's defense is so complicated. That's why it works when it works. But coaches need to teach it and be on top of things, and that takes time and effort. The problem was that Rex wasn't putting in that work. THAT is why he was canned early I think. His record at .500 for 2 seasons was actually better than any Bills coach since Wade, including McDermott. Whaley was doing everything he could to create chaos, just like he did with St. Doug, and Rex's brother is a walking disaster, so I think Pegula wanted people who could at least act like professionals running the team. Being able to put together a coherent sentence is a plus too.
  11. I was talking about Eagles Pats SB Giants put up great defensive efforts gotta give them credit! And thank God for them! And "too easy" is the phrase you're looking for. See, we're both helpful!
  12. trade the likely top 5 pick for a bunch of goodies this year. Gotta be 2019 draft goodies. Pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd or something to that effect. Or be like this year's Colts and have 18 picks in the second round (slight hyperbole). Then, draft 2 WR, a center, a guard, and a RB (late, not until round 4 or later). Round 1: WR Round 2: WR Round 2: LB/CB Round 3: RB/WR/TE Round 3: G/C (if value is there) otherwise LB or DB This would give the team 2 (hopefully) solid rookie WR prospects, some OL help, and another offensive weapon in the RB or TE. Then in free agency sign another mid-range WR (Golden Tate type player) and another OL. Do all that, and if Allen is good this offense will be WAY different.
  13. Based on the fact that they keep finding defensive players I am willing to wait and see what they find on offense. Draft 2 WR, sign another one in free agency, and draft a lineman or two as well in round 2-4.
  14. Packers are not a very good team and are average at best on defense... As evidenced by their 3-3-1 record coming in. They hung right in there and were about to score and take at least a 20-17 lead until that fumble. As soon as that fumble happened the air went right out of GB. Part of me feels better after watching Rams/Saints that either team would destroy NE. Gronk is limping around and having back issues and even when he does play he's just a good TE vs being the Gronk we all know. Still... it's NE.
  15. You cannot base on offense on passing in Buffalo... A guy from Carolina just moved into town and told us all so. So it wouldn't have mattered if Mahomes came here
  16. This does give me hope... Tyrod seems like the dream QB for a guy like McDermott... Jauron probably sits around and dreams of what might have been had his path crossed Tyrods in Buffalo.... Yet McDermott benched Tyrod then traded him... So there must be some hope
  17. That said, they seem adept at finding defensive players so they can't be totally unable to find offensive players... Right?
  18. I'm less worried about the current offense and more worried that the head coach has an outdated and ineffective philosophy on offense in a league where you need 30 points to beat the best teams. What's the goal? Is it to slip in as a wild card or to win a title?
  19. KC hasn't had Eric Berry or Justin Houston most if the season... Let's hope both come back healthy and ready to take down the evil empire this January
