  1. Green Bay is so overrated as is Rogers The greatest QB to to win next to nothing and underachieve regularly
  2. Everyone keeps mentioning Manning winning with Denver but there is one huge difference... Denver had a dominant defense. NE has a mediocre to bad defense.
  3. This article could be 70 pages long and I would enjoy every word... I didn't want it to end!
  4. Edelman takes such a beating due to the style they play of dink and dunk short passes. The guy gets open, gets 5-7 yards RAC, then gets walloped. Rinse and repeat. Just like Welker, they are almost done using him up until he's battered and broken. He is slowing down a lot this year and not getting open like he used to. Brady has looked 41. Look, I'm the biggest pessimist there is when it comes to the Patriots. Little kids check for monsters under their beds... I check for the Patriots. I have long ago accepted that their team is a test of my character and willpower. I loathe them so much that I enjoy their losses almost as much as Bills wins. I resigned myself to them being good forever, and only looking bad from time to time so that I get my hopes up so they can crush them. All that said, Brady is looking his age. He is still great and will have some great games, but I think he is playing injured again with that shoulder. I noticed during the Green Bay game when he executed a QB sneak he took a real shot to the shoulder and stayed down for quite a few seconds on his knees. Ever since then he has been wincing in pain quite a bit and missing throws. He also took another nice shot to the ribs/shoulder and damn near tore his ACL trying to catch a pass. He has taken some shots and is throwing some wildly inaccurate passes and has almost no zip on the ball. Even if the ball takes a half second longer to get to Edelman or Hogan, that gives the DB time to close. What were once completions that moved the chains are now incomplete passes. Add to all this the drama behind the scenes and the end is near for them. It isn't now, though. But it's coming. They cannot afford to struggle on offense because the D is mediocre at best.
  5. Rams D is a mystery... They have all that talent, plus my man Wade as DC, but they are not good.
  6. The point is that it doesn't matter if LA Chargers have a better record than NE they will be a lower seed and go on the road unless they win that division If LA is 13-3 but KC is 14-2 then LA will be the 5th seed at best and could travel to a 9-7 division winner in the wildcard round He is hitting the walllus he is getting hit a lot and his WR cannot get open and Gronk is not going to be Gronk this season
  7. Division winner cannot be lower than 4th seed regardless of record....
  8. I doubt he gets as much as he thinks he will but who knows I say report, make some $, maybe win a ring and most importantly do your part to keep NE from ruining the SB!
  9. Good for Barkley and now I guess we need to put in a game or two for show until he plays like he has his entire career. No big deal but its what we have to do so there's no controversy when Allen comes in
  10. Counting today, Barkley (who has been in the league since 2013) has a career 10 TD and 18 INT and just over 2100 yards passing. His 232 yards today were good for 15th in the league, and his 2 TDs were 13th in the league. Not bad, but if Barkley's career and performance today keep the 7th overall pick on the bench when you're 3-7 then you might have made a mistake drafting Allen there. I guess we have to waste a game or two starting Barkley for show... it is what it is. Either way history has shown how the Barkley story goes. It won't be long, but it's a shame to waste valuable reps. At least there won't be a controversy when Allen comes back in.
  11. Brady almost tore his knee trying to catch that ball then took a big shot at the end... Almost like BB is punishing him lol
  12. I think Brady is banged up... 1 TD in 3 weeks and today he looked old slow and hurt He took a big shot and almost blew out his knee on that dumb pass play they seem determined to run
  13. All that said, if they stick with Barkley I won't freak out but it'll just be a waste of reps for Allen IMO
  14. Nobody is saying cut the guy... But I'm not getting too worked up over a meh day for the good QBs in this league. Great compared to the awful play we've seen... Sure. Barkley has a body of work in the league and it isn't great. Eventually guys catch the picks. Why waste valuable game time?
  15. Keep Barkley as backup and Gramps as tutor and 3rd stringer
  16. I still bet they lose to a team like NE by some weird Chargers score like 19-13
  17. Barkley had a nice game But I start Allen. Let's not waste time. Barkley is not any sort of answer. Barkley threw for 230 ish and 2 TD which is nice but hardly something to change course over
  18. Still not sold.. hopefully NE has to play them wild card weekend though
  19. I vote Saints... Something about the Rams seems off to me as crazy as it sounds given their record. Chiefs are great on offense but that D is not good Steelers should be top 4...
  20. ironically, Rex was able to get a decent offense put together and found "his QB" in Tyrod, but it was the defense, which had been good, that did him in. When Rex actually tried the defense was good, like the MNF game in NE when Brady was on his back kicking his little footsies in rage most of the game. But that takes a LOT of time with the players because Rex's defense is so complicated. That's why it works when it works. But coaches need to teach it and be on top of things, and that takes time and effort. The problem was that Rex wasn't putting in that work. THAT is why he was canned early I think. His record at .500 for 2 seasons was actually better than any Bills coach since Wade, including McDermott. Whaley was doing everything he could to create chaos, just like he did with St. Doug, and Rex's brother is a walking disaster, so I think Pegula wanted people who could at least act like professionals running the team. Being able to put together a coherent sentence is a plus too.
  21. I was talking about Eagles Pats SB Giants put up great defensive efforts gotta give them credit! And thank God for them! And "too easy" is the phrase you're looking for. See, we're both helpful!
