  1. I'll bet Sunday Ticket is pretty much the only thing keeping Direct TV afloat at this point. It's a PIA for anyone who rents (yes, the law says you can have it but many landlords don't care and it's a nightmare), when the weather is bad you can't watch TV, the the customer service has gotten worse and worse. Back when we rented in a large apartment building we were out of the Bills market area (stuck in the crappy NE zone) and I was willing to subscribe to Direct TV and leave the box unopened in my closet, just so I could get streaming access to the games and watch the Bills. We also had cable at the time for internet and TV. I could not install the dish anywhere and the landlord wouldn't even allow us to use a tripod on our private porch, which probably would not have worked anyway. Direct TV insisted that I had to actually install their equipment or they could not allow me to pay for the service, even if I wanted to. So they got zero $$ instead. The whole thing with Direct TV and the NFL is plain stupid. The NFL likes it this way, because in their minds making it as difficult as possible for fans to see out of market games is a good thing, because they think it will increase attendance and viewership for the in-market games. Instead, people just find free online streams and they don't get a dime. Most other sports have streaming packages that anyone can sign up and pay for and watch legally, which benefits everyone. The NFL is stuck in the past when it comes to this. All that said, I think we're about to see the end of the golden age of streaming. Everyone wants their own apps now with exclusive content, so the days of Netflix or Hulu having what you need are coming to and end very soon. You'll have to subscribe to 11 different services to watch what you want.
  2. I've said the words once or twice tonight!
  3. Works for me! I just don't get the rush to send Shady out... RBs are practically guaranteed to get injured
  4. McCoy Gore and Singletary is a great combo RBs always get banged up. Keep all 3
  5. Bodine with 2 bad plays that drive
  6. Barkley is the perfect backup QB Love the guy!
  7. This fall is going to be a lot of fun I think
  8. Singletary making some plays!
  9. Every time I see Barkley I think of the spider in his basement
  10. Young offense... Things happen but we need to eliminate mistakes
  11. Am I crazy for liking Shaq? I was surprised they didn't pick up the option
  12. There would be the odd week when the Bills defense suddenly looked creative and dangerous when Rex was here That alone told me that when he actually wanted to work he still could but he mostly mailed it in and let his team of assistants do all the work with little to no guidance IMO he was totally burned out and the Bills suffered for it. Glad we went young and hungry with McBeane
  13. Alarm bells are ringing in league offices according to Florio, who adds: is it time for players to request greener pastures, perhaps north of the border, where the NBA team just won a championship? Hey he just is a guy asking questions! Lol
  14. I'm really sick of the Saints and their fans whining They already got us this insane PI challenge rule.
  15. IMO the entire Toronto series was about Rogers laying the groundwork to move the team to Toronto. I don't doubt for a second that Rogers expected to outlive Wilson and be in perfect position to buy the team. Once Rogers passed away I believe his $$ was tied up in a family trust, making it impossible for his heirs to access enough to buy the team. I think he never thought it would matter because he was so much younger than Ralph, but once Rogers died the whole plan to move the team to Toronto pretty much died as well.
  16. Wade Phillips is what Rex could have been if he was willing to adapt and play 2nd fiddle to the HC Super Bowl winning DC who is seen as one of the best defensive minds in the game. Held NE to 3 points until the 4th quarter of the super bowl and 13 for the game. Wade's defenses in Denver and LA actually did just about shut Brady's offense down.
  17. Could they do some sort of overhang so the crowd is out of the rain but still open air? Like a giant covered porch
  18. Beautiful fall day in WNY and everyone has to sit inside a dark airplane hangar for a football game.... Totally gross. Buffalo Bills football belongs outside.
