  1. 78%? Wow! That number seems high but believable at the same time, if you know what I mean... Is the practice squad a certain set salary, or do players sign whatever deals they can? Does that count towards the salary cap? In other words, could a team stash a guy by paying him something like $1 million to be on the practice squad, essentially creating a 54th roster spot in case of injury? I knwo other teams can poach them, but can't the original team activate him if they find out that's going to happen in order to keep him?
  2. Patriots are scared of the Bills and want intel
  3. Luck and Manning made so-so to bad Colts teams Super Bowl contenders. Rogers makes so-so to bad Green Bay teams Wildcard contenders. To me, that's the difference. Just look at Luck's retirement. Before that the Colts were a team a lot of people were picking to win this year's Super Bowl. Now? Most have written them off. So I would say both Manning and Luck did more with less in Indy overall, but it's close. You're right that Green Bay hasn't exactly stacked their teams though. One thing Rogers, Luck and Manning have in common is being good enough to keep incompetent coaches employed. Luck actually had his best coach so far (IMO) in Reich and was great last season, but it was too late because he was so beaten up by previous years of awful roster management and clueless coaching with Pagano. But Rogers had McCarthy, the definition of mediocre to poor, for most of his career. Manning had guys like Caldwell as his head coach, and still won 12+ games and went to the Super Bowl anyway. If Dungy had stuck around longer in Indy I think they would have won 1-2 more Super Bowls with Manning. The advantage that Brady has had is having the GOAT HC (or close to it) his entire career and one system that they run up there. So, all that said, we're arguing over whether Rogers is just GREAT or whether he is the BEST QB in the league. I have him top 5, but I don't buy the "best QB in the league" talk that I hear every year regarding Rogers.
  4. Peterman has huge arms for a guy known for poor arm strength
  5. Mr. Croom ain't going nowhere He's on the HHH plan
  6. Slotermania is OVER!
  7. Edelman just possibly reinjured his left hand getting tackled in this 4th preseason game... He was wide open though like always
  8. In fact it looks like Edelman hurt his hand
  9. Patriots are playing Edelman and Gordon Lol
  10. No dome! This is football weather!
  11. I'm surprised they issued Sammy's #14
  12. Watching with the cats! Days like today make me so sad to think of a gross dome stadium!
  13. Maybe... It's certainly possible... Brady has played an entire career with one of the greatest coaches of all time and a solid roster. That does play a huge role
  14. Did I say he was a loser? Did I say he wasn't great? No, in fact, I said he was "great" many times. Some people seem to struggle with nuance. He is not the best QB in the league, IMO. Yours may differ, which is fine. Given that so many people label him the best QB in the league, he is overrated in my opinion, because I don't think his level of play warrants being called the best QB in the league. I would take the following curently active QB's over Rogers: Mahomes Wilson Big Ben Brees So he's #5 in my book, which is great. But he's overrated by many who have put him #1 for years now, even when Brady and Manning were both putting up obscene numbers still.
  15. It's true that GB has mattered more than the Bills since Favre's backup took over. I didn't say Rogers wasn't great. I said he is the most overrated QB in the league. So many people talk about him as the best QB in the league and one of the greatest ever. I think his reputation outranks his accomplishments. Again, Manning was a "choker" to do many but his teams were pretty much penciled in as division winners with 12+ wins. Even with 1000 yard stare Caldwell at HC Manning won a ton of games. Meanwhile, the "GOAT" in GB misses the playoffs and drives away his HC so he can run the team. Sure, he is great but he is uncoachable and not as good as so many say he is.
  16. Remember how Peyton Manning "couldn't win the big games" He played in 4 Super Bowls and won an awful lot of big games along the way. His teams were always in the playoffs and his Colts teams were the definition of mediocre. Rogers is Mr. 8-8. Wake me up when his team matters. Oh, he will be in the running for MVP while his team wins 6 games and he orders around his head coach though! Best QB in the league! Lol
  17. No question he is very good but he is talked about like a guy who wins a lot more than he does.
  18. Most overrated QB in the league Doesn't mean he isn't good but he gets far more credit than he deserves
  19. Another W Haters and yeah buts can suck it! 3-0 baby!
  20. Don't care that it's preseason... I've had 4+ IPAs and I want the W!
  21. Scoreboard! We are winning!
  22. What is the point of running Gore and Shady every play? At least run Wade and Singletary
  23. Run Run Pass on 3rd and long Punt Typical Bills offense
  24. That fat POS Anderson yapping... Where were you in the SB Fatboy?
  25. The only people happy are the WGR hosts who can spend the next 2 weeks bashing the coach and especially Josh Allen
