the Toronto people are inside now as part owners. IMO it was some cash but also a way to market the team up there. Toronto sports stars as owners helps a lot.

The Bills are the person who lost 50 pounds, quit drinking, started eating lean and hit the gym for a couple years. Now everyone wants to see them. That makes it more dangerous long term. With the amount of money involved nothing is off the table. Any "poison pill" to break a lease in a decade or so is just cash that will be made up later.
And honestly, the amounts of money in taxes are so enormous that passing the team to kids is almost impossible now. Kids would have to be independently billionaires to afford the estate taxes.
We should just enjoy this era of Buffalo Bills football.
