Khalil Mack traded to Chargers for 2nd and 6th round picks
TheFunPolice replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane has spent some pretty decent money on the DL but the production hasn't matched the contracts. You shouldn't need an Excel spreadsheet and "advanced stats" to show that a DL gets pressure. Good old simple stats and seeing the QB running for his life or taking sacks works a lot better. -
I would never have thought that toe injuries from his playing days could affect Deion this much... Glad to hear that it seems like he is doing better
-
If not for a well placed DB that's a TD. Watching it is like watching a nightmare!
-
assuming he really wants to get back here, and given his recent track record, he should come fairly cheap I liked him when he was here, and sometimes new places just aren't a fit.

I know one thing: Denver just became interesting to watch! Before they were awful to watch even though they were not an awful team.

Honey Badger

Wagner seems like a McDermott type guy on defense
-
OK that makes sense... scrolled through too quickly

I don't get it? EDIT: Never mind ... read it too quickly!

Colts won that trade!

WHAT? I did not see this coming... I figured nothing would happen with Wilson. Boy the NFC is bereft of top QBs outside 2-3 guys

Does Jack Easterby (Texans) remind you of anyone?
TheFunPolice replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since you asked, he reminds me of the song "Spirit in the Sky" -
Packers and Rodgers agree to deal. 4 year 200 million
TheFunPolice replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Smartest move for Rodgers by far. If he can ever win some playoff games the Super Bowl berth is there for the taking in the NFC. As far as Jordan Love goes, he's getting paid a decent salary to back up a multiple time MVP. Everyone loves the backup QB. Stand there in your Packers cap cheerleading the team on and "be the future" while taking no hits, enduring no criticism, and learning more and more about the game. He will have earned almost $13 million just for his 4 year rookie deal. IMO he's not very good, so if he plays the gravy train ends. -
Hey, Cousins is OK. There's just something missing that you can't quite put your finger on. Somehow he shrinks when the moment gets big. It's hard to really quantify that or say exactly what it is. Some guys can play when it gets ugly and make something happen. With Cousins it feels like once things go off script and he needs to innovate it just doesn't happen. He reminds me of Carson Palmer... just good enough to break your heart

Rumor- Harrison Phillips not coming back
TheFunPolice replied to wiseman3's topic in The Stadium Wall
Phillips just isn't worth a big contract IMO. Fine player and great human being (a couple people I know have met him at get togethers and say he is one of the most respectful and nicest people you could meet) but on the football field totally replaceable, as much as I hate to say it because I love the guy as a person. It's probably one of those situations where the Bills would love him back at a certain number but the agent thinks he can get much more on the open market, and hey, it only takes one team. -
I would be the worst coach of all time for Davis... 340? What are you sick or something and not eating? Here's a list of the best restaurants in WNY. You put in the work and come to camp ready to be my 1T DT!
-
This guy sounds like a create a player DT I used to make in Madden! I'd like to see him add 10-20 pounds, but we can take care of that with a few trips to some local Buffalo eateries
-
Cousins is elite at making money in his career. Guy has banked $161 million already for being totally mediocre. Hey, good for him. It's a business, as we're often told.

Browns reinforce their plans for Mayfield.
TheFunPolice replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best case scenario, the Browns have the #3 QB in their division, with Burrow and Jackson ahead of him. -
Bruce Arians... LOL That decision will be made way above your head, coach. You have a Super Bowl ring because of Brady. That said, I think Brady really is done with playing. He said something like teammates need him all-in and he can't do that anymore. If Brady isn't 100% locked in, full-on TB12 style with the smoothies, massages, and whatever else then he will fall apart as a 45 year old QB.
