  1. I like how Flores repeats the question in a condescending way before not answering it...
  2. I just hope this drags into the offseason and a bunch of teams become involved, causing him to go the NFC. 2 plusses: 1) One less top QB in our way 2) One more top QB in Brady's way
  3. Wow AJ Green owns that pick. Should have been a TD. Either way, great game by the Packers, who were missing 3 top WR.
  4. they just get an extra bye each year, to be used any week they choose! Counts as a win for them and a forfeit loss for the team they pick.
  5. $1 billion is a lot of money, but once in the hands of government it doesn't go as far as you would think. There is a lot of "spend it because we have it" that goes on, without much thought of getting the maximum mileage out of that cash. Anyone who has a wellness card as part of their health insurance knows this. You go to health food stores that sell vitamins and supplements at outrageous prices that nobody would ever pay, but those places cater heavily toward people using their wellness cards because it's not their own $$ anyway and they need to spend it. So they buy vitamin C for $35 a bottle when it's 1/5 of that price at Walmart, for example.
  6. 2 conferences of 17 teams, top 7 in each conference makes the playoffs, no divisions. You play 17 games: every team in your conference once (16 games), plus 1 crossover game= 17 games. Benefits: 1. No 7-9 or 8-8 team gets to the playoffs for "winning" a cupcake division over a team with a better record 2. Almost a totally balanced schedule: everyone in the conference plays the exact same schedule, aside from the crossover game. 3. When the playoffs begin, you'll have the true top 7 teams in each conference. 4. Interconference games would be unique, given that each team would have only 1. However, there could be 1 scheduled each week so there's always an AFC/NFC game on. It's not too different from now, where you only play 5 interconference games anyway. It was 4 a year ago. It could be 1. The numbers work perfectly for this.
  7. They do hang out a bit, and Brady was also on Peyton's Places riding shotgun and hamming it up. I'm sure that it kills Peyton to see Brady breaking his records, and he even brought it up Monday night. However, with 17 games these young guys will break Brady's records some day as well. The only ones that nobody can take away are rings.
  8. The AFC is going to be insane for years. If Aaron Rodgers wants a better legacy now is the time to start piling up those Super Bowls. He's crazy if he tries to get to Pittsburgh, as was suggested.
  9. Maybe if Bezos gives Snyder a space station in addition to $3-4 billion for the team he would take it?
  10. Now that Rex is no longer being paid by the Pegulas, he will likely look to get back into the league. IF he were willing to accept a DC spot and put in the work he would be quite successful, IMO. If he wants to roll in at 9 and leave at 3 it won't go well.
  11. Our OL got absolutely blown up and Josh slipped, maybe as a result of seeing his linemen fall like dominoes backward towards him. Hey, it happens. It was the right call, it just didn't work. If we convert there and score the TD we win the game. If we kick and go to OT then it comes down to the coin toss, because we barely slowed them down the entire second half.
  12. Bills going with the orange and black alternates this week! Cool to see!
  13. If the Bills built a downtown stadium I wonder if they would try to do a Harbor Center type complex, where they could capitalize on the venue a bit more the rest of the days of the week.
  14. Brady was great to watch with them. It's obvious that Peyton and Tom have good chemistry and are buddies off the field, just from their banter. Some of the other guests are a bit painful, but overall I love watching the Manning Cast. Peyton has a real knack for being on camera. He and Cooper also did the College Bowl, which was a blast to watch. It's a trivia contest where college teams compete for scholarship money. It's also fun to play along with. If they do another season I highly recommend watching it!
  15. public hearing are just opportunities for fringe players with agendas to grandstand and complicate the situation If your opinion is "yay! New Bills stadium!" you're probably not going to bother going to the meeting. If you have a burning passion for fighting for some agenda you'll be there, and you'll make a scene. Then that becomes the story. Either way, I think it's a done deal and it's just a matter of who pays what. Bills are not going anywhere.
  16. Pick the wrong QB and your whole organization tanks. Wilson will never be good, IMO. The guy looks like a kid out there playing this game, and he's already injured.
  17. I don't think so... It seems like there haven't been a lot of great matchups this season. The past 2 sundays where the Bills played Monday or had a bye I was excited to spend the day watching Redzone and the games were just putrid. If anything, the league feels more top heavy than ever this year, and the divisions that play each other aren't making for many exciting matchups. Many of the good teams have cupcake schedules overall (including us, BTW).
  18. Allen's game is more rugged, edgy, tough. When things get snowy, ugly and muddy Allen is still in his element. But Allen can also play the pretty game now, as we've seen. To me, Mahomes excels at the pretty game, but when the sledding gets rough and the pretty plays aren't there he just starts trying to play hero ball.
  19. No losses are "freebies" At the end, the team with the most wins gets the #1 seed. I get that conference losses are worse than NFC losses for tiebreakers, but the easy solution is to just win the most games of any team in the conference, and that includes NFC games.
